I came home from college with low expectations for Christmas because I haven’t gotten along well with my parents for years. I didn’t expect them to change the locks on me, though.
My goal is to touch base for a few days and get out of town, but the note my parents left on the door that sends me next door to their best friend’s house: changes everything. He’s perfect in every way and showers me with attention the guys at college couldn’t dream of.
And now I can’t get him out of my dreams.
