Either way, those two worlds don’t mix, so I do everything I can to keep them separate. Chris - I'm one of most successful angel investors in Denver, with a track record of building great companies. So naturally, when my brother wants to start a business, I'm the man to fund it. Only one problem. He wants to succeed on his own merits, and forces me to be more of a silent partner. Technically, I'm not in charge, but I do write the paychecks, which may be a bit of a conflict as far as getting close to the beautiful new writer.
