After a bad motorcycle crash put the leading riders, the current officers of the Satan’s Devils MC out of action, the FOG, or the previous officers recently retired, step up to temporarily run the club again.
Unable to ride or perform his sergeant-at-arms duties, once Hound is released from hospital, he’s bored, and looking for something to occupy himself. He offers his assistance at any of the Satan’s Devil’s businesses that might need help. SD Construction has a job that’s ideal for a one-legged man with a TBI..
Said work sends him to a decaying, long abandoned mansion, with the instructions to take photos which show whether it’s restorable or should be demolished. Hound quickly finds reasons why the project’s been turned down by most other construction companies in the area.
After vowing he’d never return, while reporting back to Shooter and Bullet, a pretty woman enters the office. She claims she was brought up in that house, and insists she be given a tour around it. Hound tries to satisfy her with photos, but one picture captures something he hadn’t seen with his naked eye.
Despite his reluctance to return to the mansion, he finds it hard to resist Maeve’s appeal to have one last chance to visit her old home.
Perhaps he should have stayed away, as the Satan’s Devils find themselves embroiled against an enemy, the likes of which they’ve never encountered before.
And, is Maeve exactly what she seems?
