Loaded God Complex, an insanely popular rock band, is looking for a violinist to play on one of their tracks, and in some weird twist of reality, they pick me. I get to meet Dex Reid, LGC’s lead singer and resident playboy. He’s arrogant and talented and has women waiting in line to spread their legs for him. So why do I feel his eyes on me every time I play? And why does it feel like he wants me as bad as I want him?
Despite being aware I’m not Dex’s usual type, I can’t deny the magnetic chemistry between us. But I know the truth: Dex isn’t the settling-down type, especially not with a girl like me. I don’t want to have my heart broken, and when it comes to love, that’s all he’s good at.
