Both of them looked at her confused. Did they not see the men that had kidnapped her?

"What do you mean two men?" Daddy asked.

She shook her head and pulled against the ropes.

"Take a deep breath for me," Daddy said. "Such a good girl. That's it. Slowly in, hold it, now let it out."

Her eyes stayed on him the whole time.

"Now, can you tell us about these two men," Daddy asked. "I need to know if they are still in the house."

"They are the men who kidnapped me," she said.

Her eyes went around the room, trying to figure out if they were still in the house or not. She heard the door shut, both of them, but that didn't mean anything. They could've shut it but not actually left the house.

"Ah the two goons that were leaving when we arrived," Ezra said. "They have been taken care of. We have men who are giving them to the authorities right now."

She sagged into the chair to her best ability with her hands still tied.

"Let's get you out of those," Daddy said. "Sorry I didn't do it before. I wanted to make sure we got the men before I untied you."

Sofia nodded her head. She didn't really mind that her arms were still tied. Well, she couldn't really feel them that well, which was concerning her.

"I can't feel my fingers," she whispered.

"You're going to be okay," Daddy said. "We'll have Michael check over you when we get back."

Daddy picked her up after he got her untied and she relaxed into his arms. She was so glad he was here with her.

"I thought I wasn't going to ever see you again," Sofia whispered, her voice full of emotion.

She was going to start crying again but she didn't care. Sofia had just gone through a traumatic event and she needed to process her emotions.

"Never," Daddy said as he started to rub her back. "I would never let that happen to you."

Sofia pushed her head into his neck and silently cried in his arms.

"You're okay," Daddy whispered. "I've got you. Nothing is going to happen to you."

"Everything okay?" Ezra asked. "Do you need me to do anything?"

"No," Daddy said. "Everything is just hitting her all at once but she’s going to be okay."

Sofia snuggled into his embrace even more and he held onto her.

"Let's get you home," Daddy said.

Daddy started to walk, and she clutched onto his shirt. She knew he wasn't going to leave her, but she needed to make sure, just in case. If she had her hand gripped onto his shirt, he couldn't go anywhere without her.

"How did you find me?" she finally asked.

She didn't know how long she was in the room with Lucy before they came in. Had it been an hour or was it just a couple of minutes?

"How long was I there for?" She asked.

"Twenty minutes or so," he replied. "The necklace."

She pulled her head away from his neck and looked at him in confusion.
