“I have no idea where Chainsaw or Zach is,” Raiden said. “My brother hasn’t been here since Tuesday, and I haven’t seen Zach in weeks.”
It was Friday night. “Would you be so kind as to show me his room?”
“Sure.” Raiden shrugged. “I don’t see how that would help.”
It would give Eleazar Chainsaw’s scent. Once he was shown to the brother’s room, Eleazar pocketed a bandana. Now his entire coven would have Chainsaw’s smell. Eleazar wasn’t going to rest until Zach was found. This meant too much to Andrew.
When Eleazar returned to the main room, Raiden moved to stop him from leaving. “Promise you won’t kill Chainsaw.”
Eleazar snarled. “Your brother is a stain on society. He kidnapped someone, harmed my servant, and you wish me to simply forget about this?”
The music died. Men and women turned toward Eleazar. The place grew so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.
Eleazar wasn’t concerned for his safety. If he had to, he would kill everyone there. He didn’t need his elite to protect him. It was more of a show of strength whenever he brought them along with him.
Raiden held up his hand. “Easy, everyone.”
Because Raiden knew of Eleazar’s reputation. Deadly. Merciless. That was how they’d met. Raiden had been driving through rival territory and had been caught and captured. Eleazar had been getting Felix out of a tight spot, because his ex-servant sometimes lacked common sense.
Eleazar had killed everyone in the place and had walked away with his servant, as well as Raiden’s thanks. The guy had been indebted to him since. He’d seen Eleazar’s capabilities and clearly didn’t want his people to die.
“Why?” someone asked. “He wants Chainsaw. We ain’t letting him have him.”
Striking with the quickness of a snake, Eleazar slammed the offending man’s head against the bar and let him go, watching as the human slumped to the floor. “If you want to save your little club, I suggest you let me walk out of here.”
Raiden nodded. No one else said a word as Eleazar walked out. He wasn’t sure if the person he’d assaulted was dead, and he didn’t care. He was going to find Chainsaw and Zach and end Chainsaw’s life.

“Find my brother before Eleazar does,” Raiden said to Rusty. He might owe the vampire his life, but there was no way in fucking hell that Raiden was going to let the bastard kill Jasper. He was all Raiden had left in this world, and he would protect Jasper even if his club had to go to war with the vampires of Ridgeway.
He wasn’t going to lose the only blood family he had left.

“I swear I’m fine,” Andrew argued as Dr. Caldart kept flashing that annoying penlight in his eyes. Andrew was ready to slap it out of his hand.
“You might have a concussion,” the doctor said. “Nausea? Loss of balance? Dizziness? Problems with your vision?”
“None of the above,” Andrew answered. “Just a pounding headache.”
“Keep an eye on him,” Dr. Caldart said to Eleazar, who was standing by the dresser as Andrew was examined. He handed over a piece of paper to the vampire. “Look for these signs and call me if he exhibits any of them.”
When the doctor walked out, Andrew looked at Eleazar. “How do you have a human doctor on retainer?”
“You are not my first servant,” Eleazar said as he closed the door. Shayde had been on the other side to see the doctor out. “There were more, even before Felix.”
That made Andrew wonder. “Just how old are you?”
“I’ve given Chainsaw’s scent to my assassin squad,” Eleazar said with a hint of a smile. “They’ll track him down and return Zach.”
“Fine, don’t answer me.” Andrew got up from his bed where he’d been sitting for his exam. “And thanks, for everything. I’d understand if you wanted to fire me. I left without telling you, stole your ride, got into a messy situation, and you had to go to a biker bar.”
“Let’s not have a repeat and we’ll forget the matter.” Eleazar moved closer and tilted Andrew’s head back, looking him over. Andrew liked the touch. He was drawn to the guy, so he just stood there holding his breath. “Are you sure you’re feeling okay?”
“Like I said, just a headache.” The words came out in a whisper as Andrew stared into Eleazar’s dark eyes. He wanted the guy to kiss him so badly that his lips ached.
As if reading his mind, and while he still held Andrew’s chin in his hand, Eleazar leaned down and brushed his lips across Andrew’s. The move was unexpected, and Andrew drew in a breath before he leaned closer and licked a path across Eleazar’s bottom lip.
