Brie had always felt a strong connection with Tono. The time and distance hadn’t changed that, although the dynamic of their relationship had changed. Looking at Autumn, who was laughing hysterically with Lea, Brie noticed that she was completely oblivious to the long scar that covered the right side of her face.

“You have made great strides with Autumn since you collared her. She’s like a whole new person.”

“No,” he said gazing at the woman with love. “The change has all been from her, I was simply the conduit.”

“So, do you think she’s ready to perform in front of a live audience yet?”?”

“Yes. In fact, our first performance will be in LA in January. I would like to send you and Sir Davis tickets to attend.”

“Oh, Tono, we wouldn’t miss that for the world!”

He glanced around the great room, taking in the impressive view of the ocean. “This is an auspicious occasion for you. I—”

Shadow suddenly appeared and walked straight to Tono, ignoring everyone else in the room. Tono knelt down to pet the cat. “It has been a long time, Shadow.”

“He’s missed you.” Brie was touched by the cat’s affection for the Asian Dom.

“I have missed him, as well.” Tono smiled up at her—a smile that still made Brie’s heart burst with joy.

“Nosaka, it’s good to see you again.” Sir said, walking up to greet him, holding out his hand. “This screening would not be complete without you.”

Tono stood, much to Shadow’s disappointment, to shake his hand. “As you know, Autumn and I are big fans of your wife’s work.” He smiled at Brie. “Nothing could keep us away.”

“Would you like a tour of the house?” Sir asked him.

“Sure.” Tono picked up the huge black cat, who was purring loudly. “I would love to see it.”

Brie was about to join them when the doorbell rang.

She shrugged, excusing herself. “I guess the party has officially begun…”

A half hour later, Brie stood in front of her friends and trainers, feeling like a bundle of nerves. When she couldn’t stop her hands from trembling, she put them behind her back so no one would notice and smiled at everyone.

“First, I’d like to thank everyone for coming tonight. It means so much to have you here for this very first showing of my new documentary.”

Her friends smiled at her from their seats, and she felt the nerves beginning to ease.

Looking over at Master Coen, Brie bowed her head. “It’s an honor to have Master Coen travel such a long distance to join us.”

Everyone clapped, welcoming him back.

“Wouldn’t miss it for the world, Mrs. Davis,” he told her. “I hope you don’t mind, but I plan to live-stream the film so that raven can see her performance since she was unable to make the trip with me.”

“Of course, Master Coen. I hope raven enjoys it.”

Looking at Boa next, Brie gushed, “I’m deeply grateful to Boa for preparing an incredible array of food for the party. When he offered to bring a few hors d’oeuvres, I never expected to be treated to such a wide variety of delicious tapas. It reminds me of our Submissive Training Center days during our breaks from the class.”

Boa grinned. “That’s exactly what I was going for.”

“Well, you’ve taken this evening to another level. Thank you.”

Mistress Lou patted Boa’s thigh, clearly proud of her sub.

“As you guys know, I’ve been working tirelessly to edit this film for release. While this is by no means the final product, this is my vision of what it will look like. However, I’m certainly open to suggestions once you’ve watched the documentary in its entirety. Please understand that it’s important to me that you feel the part you are featured in does you and the scene justice.”

Brie played with the white orchid in her hair, glancing at Tono.

“My intention with this second film is to show the wide variety of experiences that can be explored under the BDSM umbrella, and I wanted to present it in a way that would entertain and educate people at the same time. By watching the various scenes play out, I hope people will not only identify with the sensual aspect of BDSM but also the connection that comes from it. I truly want the quality of each scene to speak for itself.”
