I rolled my eyes at him. "Whatever."
He stepped closer to me, invading my personal space, breathing the same air that I was, causing me to shudder.
"As much as I would love to sit here and talk to you, we need to go. We can talk in the car if you don't fall asleep."
"Okay," I whispered.
A'Mylo lifted my chin with his index finger, causing me to swipe my tongue across my bottom lip. He lowered his head to mine, and my eyes fluttered closed. His lips captured mine, and I released a soft moan. The connection was too strong to pull away from him, catching me completely off guard.
I couldn't help but wrap my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist, pulling me deeper into his embrace. He deepened the kiss, slipping his tongue into my mouth. I moaned and tried following the movement of his tongue. Once I found the rhythm, gosh, the kiss heated up. Our mouths made love to each other. This man knew exactly what he was doing.
Damn, what a kiss. I squirmed against him, trying to keep my bearings, but that was hard to do. I felt tingles in the pit of my stomach as my panties grew wet, and my nipples pressed against my bra. A moan escaped my mouth as I fought the overwhelming feeling to be even closer to him.
All too soon, A'Mylo broke the kiss and stepped back away from me. I sucked in a breath as my hand went to my chest, and my heart raced. He left me so breathless that I had to fan myself while my body ached.
A'Mylo took the keys out of my hand. "Let's get you in the car."
He walked around to the passenger side of the car, and I got in. I hoped like hell I could stay up to help this man drive me home since I had to give him the directions to my house. I settled in my car on the passenger side, a side I had never ridden on until tonight.
"Your ass better not fall asleep either," he warned when he got in the car.
I laughed. "I'll try not to."
"Um-hm," was all he said before he started the car and backed out of the parking lot.
I chuckled, knowing I would fall asleep. "Give me your phone. I'll put my address in your GPS. I don't trust myself not to fall asleep."
A'Mylo laughed and gave me the phone with a shake of his head. I took it from his hand, keyed in my address, and gave it back to him.
"Now go to sleep."
I smiled with my eyes half closed. "Yes, sir."
What a vibeit was to get to know my Lee. The woman was something else, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her. For the first time in a long time, my heart was open to the possibility of a relationship again. That was something that hadn't crossed my mind since Nya and I broke up. The only things I cared about were my daughter, my family, my business, and stacking my money.
That was until Leighton came into my life. I thought I could be stubborn. Nah, she took it to a whole new level. Little did she know it only turned me on and made me want her more.
I sat on the edge of the bed with my phone in my hand, getting ready to send her a morning text.
Me:
Good morning, beautiful.
While I waited for her to text back, I continued getting ready for work. It was a Saturday, and I had a small job to do. Aaron wasn't needed for this job, and he probably wouldn't work it if he had to. He didn't enjoy working on weekends, but I could work any day of the week and loved it.
I stood in front of the bathroom mirror, brushing my hair. It was time for a haircut since it had been two weeks since I had last seen my barber. I took pride in taking good care of myself. At thirty-two, I was in good shape and wanted to continue that way.
My cell phone chirped in my bedroom, causing me to put the brush down. I exited the bathroom and made my way to my bed to retrieve the phone. I glanced at the text with a smile on my face. A week had passed since I last saw Leighton, and that didn't sit right with me. We talked and texted on the phone, but that wasn't enough for me. I had to find a way for us to spend more time together. Getting to know her was one of the best things in the world to me right now.
My Lee:
Mornin'.
Me:
What are your plans for this weekend?
It felt like hours waiting for her to reply, but it was only a couple of minutes. I couldn't do anything but laugh, knowing she was probably thinking of something to say. Since I'd met her, her 'no' game was out of this world. I quickly made her find out I was a man who didn't take no for an answer. I was told I could be very demanding, which was true. However, I saw no fault in that.
