He wanted to know the answer behind that.

"I did," she replied.

"When did you apply and get accepted?" Michael asked.

"When I originally applied, I thought I was going to get denied but I didn't. So, then I had to work more to be able to get a plane ticket but several months had already passed," she said as she closed her eyes. "I thought I had more time."

Leo didn't like the look of defeat on her face.

"I'm going to take care of it," Jaxson said.

Sofia shook her head. "I can't ask you to do that. It's a lot of money."

"Good thing you didn't ask. I'm going to take care of it. You just fill out the information and I'll cover the cost."

Leo nodded in agreement with what Jaxson said.

"Have you thought about applying for a Green Card?" Michael asked.

"Yes," Sofia softly said.

"But?" Leo asked as she didn't say anymore.

"But I couldn't yet because it's so expensive and I didn't have the money saved up."

He didn't like the sound of that. Leo didn't have a clue that she was hurting for money so badly. Had all of them missed that?

"I'll be taking care of that too," Daddy said.

"No," Sofia said. "You aren't doing that. It's a lot of money."

Leo had no doubt that it was a lot but he knew that Jaxson wasn't hurting for money.

"I'll look into the green card things and see your options," Leo found himself saying. "Give me a day and I'll have the options for you."

"Thanks," Jaxson said.

He wanted to help out anyway he could because Jaxson deserved to be happy with his girl and Sofia deserved happiness with her Daddy. She shouldn't have to worry about money or bad things happening to her and he didn't like that they were.

"Little girl, you get some rest, eat, and drink enough," Michael said as he got up from his chair. "And stay safe. Listen to your Daddy and don't get into trouble."

"She's already in trouble for lying to me and I have no doubt she also lied to her Daddy," Leo said as he looked at Sofia. "You won't be able to sit for a week, Little girl."

"Is it okay to spank her?" Jaxson asked.

Sofia let out a small gasp and Leo couldn't help but smile. She needed a good spanking.

"She's ready for a spanking and is okay to get one," Michael said.

"No fair," she mumbled.

"I think it would be good for her. No doubt she has guilt about lying and being naughty. It'll help her release all the emotions she needs to," Michael said. "If anything is concerning, you know to call me."

Michael and Leo walked out of his office and he let out a sigh. He longed to be able to hold Hedda like Jaxson held Sofia.

"I'll see you later," Michael said.

"See ya," Leo said and set out to find his brother.
