“Aye! I was coming to tell you I need to go. The weather has gotten bad out there. We’re getting a lot more snow than they forecasted. You should get back to the castle. The roads are about to be a nightmare.”
Oh, boy.
And this was also why Gryphen loved a big, heavy vehicle.
Road traction.
“Thank you for your help, Alfie. I’ll hit the pub tomorrow. I have some things to handle tonight,” Ian said, shaking his hand.
Yeah, Gryphen had some things to handle too. Mostly, Ian. He wanted to really make a memory for him tonight, and he was going to make him giddy with the sexiness he had planned.
“Be safe! And stop in to see me when you find out what went on with Ceit! I’m dying to know!”
As they headed out, they heard the locks behind them on the church door. Looking around, it was easy to see that Alfie hadn’t been exaggerating.
Most of the town was closing down.
“Uh, are we going to make it back up the mountain?” Ian asked, worried. “I mean, I don’t mind staying in town, but sliding off the road and to our death…not my plan.”
Gryphen reassured him.
“I got this, Baby. You just relax, and I’ll get us to the castle.”
He hoped he was right.
Gryphen had needed to stall Ian for a while, but now, it looked like he didn’t have to worry about that. With the snow coming down, and the drive UP the mountain, this was going to take some time.
As Ian got in the car, Gryphen got down and put chains on the tires. The whole time, Ian watched, and it was, quite possibly, the hottest thing he’d ever seen in his life.
Holy shit.
This was right up there with the ‘fix the sink’ and ‘change the oil in his car’ fantasy. There was something so erotic about having a man who could take care of the everyday situations.
Ian didn’t have to worry.
He had a Marine.
When Gryphen got in, after backing into the chains, and getting out to make sure they went around the tires, he was honest.
“If the roads weren’t a shitmess, and we could potentially die, I’d be giving you head all the way up the mountain.”
Gryphen glanced over at him, and there was no one more disappointed that he wouldn’t be getting a blowjob from Ian.
No one.
“I’m sorry, what? Where the hell did that come from? I most definitely want to revisit this when the snow slows down.”
Ian was honest.
“I have never dated a man who could take care of things like that. They would have to call someone. You can actually fix things. You know how to handle situations, and that is the sexiest thing in the world. My man is handy. I didn’t know tires had chains. No freaking clue.”
He laughed.
“Wait until I build something for our kids. I think they need toyboxes and a treehouse.”
And there it was.
Ian pointed at his erection.
