“I’ll pay. She deserves it,” Bexley said, and it was true. Hailey had been through so much, and this one thing would make her world complete.

Well, the dress and Bodhi.

When the owner came out, Hailey in tow, she looked beyond amazing.

Hailey spun, and when she stared into the mirror, her heart raced in her chest.

“You look stunning,” Raven said. “That’s meant to be your dress.”

She wiped her eyes.

“It’s ridiculously priced. I don’t want to break Bodhi. I know he’s saved up for this day, but I can’t do it. There are other gorgeous dresses here.”

The woman came back from ringing the dress out, and handed Bexley her card. Then, she went to Hailey and handed her the receipt.

“What’s this?” she asked.

The woman explained.

“That’s your receipt for your dress. We’ll do the alterations, and when you come to the venue to get married, it will be here for you.”

She was confused.

“I didn’t buy a dress.”

“Yeah, you did,” Bexley said. “That’s the receipt. That has to mean that it’s yours.”

She was so confused.

Then, it hit her.

“What did you do?” she asked Bexley.

The woman laughed.

“Hey, if you can’t buy your friend a pretty dress bought by copious amounts of woman’s adoration for a book that caught me this sexy devil, what can you do? I am a believer in romance, and you, my friend, are meant to have that dress.”

Raven laughed.

“I’m not offended by being your muse.”

Hailey headed her way.

“Bex!”

She explained.

“It’s from us. We want you to have this as your wedding gift. One day, Holly might want to wear it, or another of your children. One day, Hailey, that dress will remind you that we love you.”

She started crying and went to where they were seated. Raven moved over, and she sat between them and held their hands.

“I don’t know how I got so lucky. You guys have changed my whole life. I will forever know that my new family is the best family I could have ever had.”

Bexley’s phone came to life, and she knew who it would be.

Jake.

“YOU. ARE. WELCOME. I. CAN’T. WAIT. TO. SEE. YOU. MARRY. HIM. I. LOVE. YOU.”
