She wiped her eyes.
“I love you too, Jake. I love all of you so much. My heart is overflowing.”
They hugged her.
Hailey had her dress.
She had her man.
And she had her wedding ready to go.
They weren’t going to even tell her that her wedding planner had barely escaped death.
Why ruin it and stress her out?
Hailey was going to be starting the new journey with a great guy, and the whole family approved.
“Thank you, guys.”
They didn’t mind.
When you loved someone, you did what you could to show them.
Hailey Draper was about to start living the dream of happily ever after.

Airport
Same Time
Their rest was short lived.
As Ridge and Lucian were recovering from the dream walk, and their little experience, Ridge’s phone chimed.
His wife and Julian were landing, and they needed to be picked up from the airport.
The rental agency had given them the bad news. All of the four-wheel drive vehicles were gone.
The weather was getting spicy, and the last thing they needed was to get trapped at the airport this close to reaching their loved ones.
So, they got showered, changed, and were on their way there.
In the car, it was silent as Lucian drove them.
“Are we going to talk about it?” Ridge finally asked, glancing over at his partner.
The man reached over and placed his hand on his thigh to connect them.
He knew it was coming since he could hear the thoughts in Ridge’s head. He’d been eavesdropping, making sure the man had no regrets.
“We can. I’m not trying to avoid discussing it, Ridge. I’m more or less focused on the roads and figured we’d talk about it when you were ready.”
Well, he was ready.
Ridge was connected to him. It was weird that he could feel someone’s emotions, and Lucian was all stirred up.
“Okay. What has you twitchy. I can hear your heartbeat, and it’s not due to a snowy road.”
