“Trey! Go!”

The radio spun, and then went silent.

“Can they really get there before us?” Genesis asked.

Tori nodded, pulled out her phone, and had to call Bexley. They needed backup.

“Yes, they can!”

When the woman answered, Tori held on for dear life in the back of the vehicle.

“Bex! We’re on the way to stop the killer! Can you go with Hailey and pick out her dress? Explain we’re tied up with this and tell her what happened,” she said, explaining what Bishop had told them.

Bexley gasped.

“On it! Go! Hailey will understand! Save a life!”

Tori figured as much.

As she hung up, they hit the highway.

“How long to get there?” Bishop asked as the roads looked hella sketchy, and they were not going to be able to help the woman if they died on the way there.

“Five minutes to the park, and ten to get to the place the bodies were dumped!”

Well, shit.

That was a long ass time.

Now, they had to hope and pray that the dead could help a girl out.

Or they were going to have one hell of a time explaining this one.

To the everyone.

When she pulled in, there was that worry that she’d tuck tail and run away. It was starting to snow pretty heavily, and the last thing they needed was for this one to turn around and leave.

So, it was time to switch it up.

She was dying in the parking lot since no one in their right mind would show up here—except for a girlfriend who suspected her lover was cheating on her.

It was time to add to the body count to make him pay.

Why not have an easier night?

After all, the cops would find her a lot easier, and then put two and two together to find out that Cyrus Lawley was a bastard.

A guilty bastard who was going to the chair.

As the woman moved across the parking lot, the killer was ready for her. She was in the absolute worst clothing for a snowstorm, and that didn’t shock her.
