Some people were so dumb. They had no sense of self preservation.
Oh, they were easy to lure away, and easy to get into bed, but when it came to smarts…
Nope.
He really was terrible at picking a lady.
As this prey turned her back for a brief moment, staring down the trail, it was clear that she was having second thoughts.
So, it was time to move.
Creeping up behind her, the bag was thrown over her head, and she was shoved to the ground. As she fought, body weight was pressed into her back, making it hard to even move.
Or breathe.
This was a two-fer.
A bag and crushed ribs.
As she fought, it didn’t take long for her to suffocate, and the fight to leave her.
As the snow fell all around, she took her last breath.
When the killer was pretty sure she was gone, and the dead woman stopped moving, something made noise from the trail that startled the killer.
Whether it was an animal, or something more, it didn’t matter. That was the cue to bail.
FAST.
As for this woman and setting the man up, it didn’t matter since she filled her role as bait for the cops. This woman should have gone home and questioned her girlfriend where she would have been safe. Now, she paid the ultimate price.
This.
Was.
Fun.
Making him panic was half the entertainment.
Running to the car, the killer left the scene, and on the way out of the park, there was triumph.
This would be the nail in the coffin.
This would be what ended him.
His fate was sealed.
And that was the best part.
There would be revenge.
