“No, we’re in this together.”
Bishop was confused.
“Okay, but you said you needed to talk to me. Are you both okay? Did you make up?” she asked.
Well, they made out, and they were about to ask her one of the most ridiculous things ever.
Ridge looked over at Lucian.
“You’re up. Good luck.”
Yeah, he was.
“I did need to talk to you, Bish. Ridge and I went back into the static to talk to Oracle. She explained a lot to us. We are in fact now bonded at the aura, so to speak. There, our souls are attached.”
She waited.
“Apparently, there, both of our third eyes are open.”
She wasn’t sure what that meant.
“Okay, and?”
Here it went.
“We made out, and it got a little bit beyond that,” he admitted, not sure how she was going to take this.
With Bishop, you never knew.
She lifted a brow.
“How beyond is beyond?” she asked. “Are we talking something more than a kiss?”
He told her everything because in a marriage, you didn’t have secrets.
As he explained, she sat down, and closed her eyes, trying to be rational. The last thing she expected was her husband to tell her that a man had a hold on his dick.
Literally.
She hadn’t been expecting him to tell her that in the static, Ridge and Lucian had a connection they didn’t have here.
Her life was definitely something out of the ordinary.
Lucian continued.
“When we came out of the static, we were sitting like always, and not fornicating. It was as if we had two different existences. There and here. Here, there was no arousal, and even now, we’re touching, and nothing like that.”
She opened her eyes.
“So this happened IN the static? Not here in the penthouse while I was working?” she asked.
They both nodded.
Then, the unexpected happened.
She began laughing.
And laughing.
