“Uh, Bish, are you okay?” Lucian asked, worried about her mental well-being. This was what he meant by her being an enigma.

As she sat there, she was in hysterics, and it didn’t seem to be an end in sight.

So, they let her laugh until she was done.

Finally, she was able to talk.

“So you’re going to tell me that you want to get it on in the static because you’re curious what will happen, but mostly because you want to get it on? That Ridge can’t keep his hands to himself when you are both playing in your head?”

Lucian blinked.

While Wynter had been surprised, his wife was more…well, Bishop.

Ridge stood and owned it.

“I wish I could control it, but because I’m attracted to your husband, it’s intensified there. My eye is open for him to use, and I have little control.”

She got up and walked around the coffee table, and he actually took a step back as if Bishop was going to lay him out on the couch.

Only, she surprised him.

She hugged him.

Ridge looked at Lucian.

“I think we broke Bishop, or is she trying to find the exact location of my heart in my chest to reach in and rip it out?”

Lucian wasn’t sure.

This was new for him.

He never thought he’d be telling her that he wanted to have sex with someone else—granted, not on this plane.

Because she could feel his heart racing, and the fear, Bishop looked up at Ridge.

“I know you are attracted to him, Ridge. I can feel it when you guys come together. We all can,” she said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

She appreciated him being honest with her. That went a long way with Bishop.

That they were concerned about her feelings told her that they would still be after the fact.

“Did you ask your wife about all of this?”

He nodded, still wary.

Bishop was pretty and lethal. Now, she was within striking distance, and he was worried about his well-being.

“Yes.”

She looked over at her husband.

“And you want to experiment in the static because that seems like the most logical and safe thing to do?” she asked. “Based on Oracle, who has gotten us into some shit in our lives before?”

He nodded.
