“How about Edward?” Rylie suggested.

“Like the sparkly vampire?” I pictured a shirtless Cam covered in glitter.

Rylie nodded excitedly.Clearly team Edward.“Exactly.”

“Fine,” Stacey huffed.

“How did it go with our dear Edward?” Haley asked. Swiping the pitcher off the coffee table, she poured three more glasses of margaritas. “Was he big? Rough?”

“Sweet?” Rylie added.

“Gross,” Stacey mumbled under her breath, snagging her glass off of the table and taking a big gulp. My eyes widened as I watched her. “What? Imagine if this was your brother.”

I wrinkled my nose at the thought of someone talking about my brother’s sexual adventures. I’d gotten enough of that from the girls in high school. I winced, feeling for Stacey. “Sorry.”

She shrugged. “It’s fine. I’m used to it. At least now it’s someone I like and am rooting for. Go ahead. Answer the questions about Edward.”

“So? How was it?”Haley asked again.

I shot one more look at Stacey before smiling. “He was perfect. Absolutely perfect.”

“How big is he?”

“I’m not going to answer that.” I rolled my eyes. Haley held out her hands about eight inches from one another and raised an eyebrow in question. I bit my bottom lip as my cheeks heated.

Haley whistled. “Damn. Edward is packing. I approve.”

“I’m so glad,” I joked.

Haley leaned forward, her butt on the edge of the couch. “So, rough? Sweet? A mixture?”

“Both. It’s like he knows exactly what I need, when I need it. I swear, I’ve never been with someone so in tune with my body.”

“I’m glad, sweetness.” A deep voice said in my ear. Rough hands ran down my arms, causing my entire body to light up with excitement.

“What are you doing here?” I asked happily. The margaritas made me slightly less embarrassed by the conversation he walked in on. My head fell back and landed on the back of the couch, looking up as Cam stared down at me. He was sweaty but gorgeous. He told me he would hang out with the guys while I was at girls’ night, but I didn’t know what they’d been doing.

“We finished the project we were working on, and I wanted to see you. Plus, I think Mason was having a Rylie withdrawal. He motioned his head to where Rylie was planted firmly on Mason’s lap.

“What project were you working on?” I asked as he distractingly massaged my neck and shoulders.

“That’s a surprise.” I narrowed my eyes but didn’t ask any more questions. One thing I’d learned about Cam over the past few months was that he loved to surprise people.

“Back to the conversation I walked in on.” He bent down and placed his lips next to my ear. “Wanna get out of here?” A shiver shot through my body when he nipped at the skin.

“None of that. We were talking about her and Edward,” Stacey slurred, poking a finger in Cam’s shocked face.

“Who the fuck is Edward?” Cam grumbled roughly. He rounded the couch, sitting next to me before tossing his arm around my shoulder.

“You’re sweaty.” I wrinkled my nose but didn’t pull away.

“You like me sweaty.”

Stacey pretended to gag, making me giggle into Cam’s arm. She may joke, but she’d been our biggest supporter from the beginning. “I’ll explain Edward later.” I winked at him.

“I need an Edward,” Haley sighed. Her eyes glassed over.

“I think you could have an Edward if you really wanted one,” Rylie said quietly and stared pointedly over my shoulder into the kitchen where Asher stood, talking on the phone.
