Running into my ex and his new girlfriend during a business lunch with my boss is more than I can handle, causing me to panic and blurt out the first thing that comes to mind—claiming my boss is my boyfriend.
The little white lie doesn’t seem like such a big deal, considering my boss goes along with it. What ends up being a big deal is that my boss is my ex’s stepbrother, and now I’m spending Thanksgiving fake-dating my boss in front of my ex at their parents’ house.
I’ve been attracted to my boss since I started working for him three months ago. He’s been nothing but professional toward me, but once we’re at his childhood home, sharing a bed, all I can think is Oh My Gourd.
