I never thought that at 24 I’d have to put my NBA dreams on hold and return to the hometown I’d left and never looked back on. But I also never thought I’d be burying my family at 24, either.
Barrenridge is a town that is full of dark and painful memories for me, but when my sister is accused of murdering our family, and then taking her own life only hours after escaping the Sunfire Circle cult, I have no choice but to return to this place, to clear her name.
With the help of my half-brother, I have just one objective: to bring down the cult for good. They’ve taken so much from me, and now it’s time for them to pay. Even if it means working with the enemy to expose the evil lurking at the heart of the cult that took my family from me.
