“A casual meeting for people in the alternate relationship lifestyle.”

I enjoy being dominated.

I consider myself a submissive.

My answers don’t surprise me because they’re in line with what I already enjoy in bed.

I sigh and run a hand over my mouth. “I wish I didn’t know that.”

“Why?” Orion taunts.

I glare daggers at him. “Don’t.”

Holding his hands up, he chuckles. “What? I wasn’t insinuating anything.” His cocky smile tells me otherwise.

“Sure,” I grumble.

“Look, she’s a consenting adult. You’re a consenting adult. That’s all I’m going to say.”

Been there, little brother. And I don’t plan on ever revisiting that mentality again.

“You’ve already said too much.”

“Fine. We can stop talking about Zoe now. What about you? Was your score enlightening?”

I shrug. “A little. I always assumed Kai and I were the vanilla ones. Between you and Chase…” I smirk.

“You think Kai is vanilla?” he asks, brows furrowed. “I’m not so sure.”

I wrinkle my nose. “Alright, I’m done talking about our kinks now.”

Orion laughs. “The more we can talk about it, the better. It’s normal and healthy. Why did your results surprise you?”

“Because I’m not into this stuff!” I say a little too loudly. “No offense. I just… don’t have time. Between my classes, taking care of you guys and then Zoe, writing, the cars, and maintaining the house, when would I have learned about it?”

I don’t say it, but until I became a guardian for Zoe, I was busy making sure Orion didn’t end up in a ditch somewhere. A lot of my weekends were spent being his wingman just to keep an eye on him. Miles and Chase were busy managing Ravage Consulting Firm, and Malakai was headmaster at St. Helena Academy supervising hundreds of students and being the most pious of us all.

Our fucking father certainly wasn’t going to make sure Orion was okay, so that job fell on me.

Even if I wanted to explore the things on the quiz that intrigued me, I couldn’t.

I had responsibilities.

First Orion, now Zoe.

“Fair enough,” Orion answers, brows pinched as he taps his fingers against my desk. “Now that Zoe is mostly self-sufficient, maybe it’s time to start doing something foryou.”

I scoff. “I have my writing and restoring the cars.”

“No, I’m not talking about your passion and hobbies.”

I look away and let his words sink in. It’s the same speech I’d given him a hundred times.Find your passion! Find something that sets your soul on fire! It’sthe same speech I gave to all of my brothers. I remember giving the same speech to Stella, Miles’s wife. Even Juliet at one point.

I had to be solid. Ihadto look out for them. If my father didn’t, it had to be me.

Dabbling in whips and chains wasn’t exactly on my radar.

“I’ll think about it,” I tell him to appease him.
