His compliment warms me. “You should be doing this, too.”

Giorgio rolls his eyes and huffs at me. “I know. I know. I’m probably an idiot for agreeing to the month after everything.”

“You’re a good guy, not an idiot,” I say, giving him a wide smile.

“As long as it doesn’t bite me in the ass.” He groans.

“It won’t,” I try to reassure him, and that’s when I feel a cold shiver down my spine as if eyes are on me again. I freeze.

“Paige?” Giorgio calls out.

“Sorry, just felt like …”

“Is that your new boyfriend?” Michael’s breath slithers across my shoulders in the darkness. “Always knew you were a slut. Already found your next victim.”

“Paige, fuck, get out of there,” Giorgio screams down the phone.

I swallow and slowly turn around, and I’m surprised when I see him; he’s dyed his blond hair black, but those blue eyes remain the same. “You shouldn’t be here,” I tell him as I try to edge away from him slowly.

“Probably not, but I needed to know if you were cheating on me. And you are. Do you have any idea how hard it was for me to watch you on that dance floor with that guy, watch him grope you, touch what is mine. Then watch you continue to flirt with numerous other men all night. And now I find you on the phonewith another, sweet-talking him while he’s in bed. And you have the audacity to call me a cheater,” he sneers.

“Paige, Paige,” I hear Giorgio calling out to me on the phone. My hand’s dropped beside me and he’s probably getting a nice view of the club’s floor.

“You need to leave, Michael,” I tell him seriously.

“Or what? You’re going to get your brother to lock me up. It’s not a crime to be here,” he jeers at me.

“It is when you are continuously harassing me.”

Michael bursts out laughing. “Harassing you? You wish. America is a free country, I can go anywhere I fucking like.”

“You shouldn’t have been able to get in,” I mumble as I continue to try to move away from him.

“Oh, because you tried to ban me. Aw, that’s so sweet, but you seem to forget that I know people, too, and some owe me a couple of favors.” He chuckles manically.

Fuck.

“If you don’t leave in three seconds, I’ll scream,” I tell him.

Those blue eyes narrow on me and his jaw locks into place before he reaches out and grabs me, placing his hand over my mouth and shoving me against the wall beside the bathrooms. I lose my grip on my phone.

“You listen and listen to me good. I’m never letting you go. You are mine and will always be mine.” And seconds later, he is disappearing down a corridor just as Callie and Savannah come rushing over.

“Shit, Paige, are you okay?” Callie asks, seeing me standing there frozen.

“I’ll get security onto it,” Savannah says, rushing off.

“What did he do?” Callie commands.

Tears start to fall down my cheeks as the shock begins to wear off. “He’s never going to let me go, Callie.”

Her face falls as she pulls me into a tight hug.

“I’m never going to let that happen.”

“He’s everywhere. I don’t know if you can stop him.” I sob.

“I know. I’m sorry, I never thought …” Callie’s voice hitches.
