“Yes, I have seen a few episodes. I liked the ones I saw.”

The door opened, and Claire entered with a huge smile on her face.

“Welcome back. Does that big smile on your face mean you got naked with Eli?” joked Caroline.

“Oh geez, really! No, we just talked and ate lunch. It was really nice. Is that all you think about?” Claire dropped her purse onto the counter and made her way over to a chair.

“No, that's not all I think about. Just a little of what I think about,” Caroline teased back as she placed the bag of popcorn in the microwave.

“So, Eli…” Noelle wiggled her eyebrows.

Demetri sat back and listened to the girls discuss their lives. It was nice to see Noelle relaxed, feeling well, and having fun with her friends again.

“He’s so nice. And so cute,” Claire giggled. “I think there is some mutual interest between us. But I’m just enjoying spending time with him. I mean, we live pretty far away from each other. But I can always use another friend. Hey, did Caroline tell you we played strip poker the other night?”

“Ah no, she failed to mention that.” Noelle gave Caroline an accusatory look.

Caroline shrugged. “A friend with benefits, maybe?” she asked Claire.

“Haha, hilarious. Probably not. Eli invited us out tonight. Noelle, do you mind if we go dancing? It won’t be until late, and I figured you and Demetri would be in bed by then.” Claire motioned to the two of them with a wide grin stretched across her face.

“No, of course not. I‘d love for you to go.” Noelle pressed the buttons on the remote and loaded an episode.

“Of course she loves that idea. More opportunity for the two of them to… catch up.” Caroline smirked at Noelle.

“You’re the worst!” Noelle said as she rolled her eyes.

“What? I said catch up. I didn’t say get laid. You know you love me,” Caroline said as she carried a large bowl of popcorn over to the others.

Demetri laughed and pulled Noelle close to him. “Your friends are very funny, Noelle.”

“They’re a real riot!”

“We love you, Caroline. Though sometimes, I wonder why.” Claire stuck her tongue out at Caroline.

Niko strolled out of the other bedroom. “What did I miss?”

“Your sister and her friends are very funny women.” Demetri popped a few kernels of popcorn into his mouth.

“Funny? Hmm, I’d say more like weirdos, but you will see for yourself the more you get to know them.” Niko grabbed a handful of popcorn. “I’ve had 22 long years of their shenanigans. I think I deserve some kind of medal.”

“If anyone deserves medals, it’s us for putting up with you and…” Caroline waved her hand in a circle in his direction. “All of that.”

“All right then, let’s watch our show.” Noelle pressed play on the DVD.

Something is definitely going on between Niko and Caroline. I must remember to ask Noelle about them.

“Have fun, guys! I am sorry we can’t join you.” Noelle waved to the girls and Niko as they were leaving.

“Sure you are,” said Caroline, as they left Noelle and Demetri alone.

When the door closed, Demetri sat on the couch looking lustfully at Noelle as he tapped his fingers on his knee. “Now, what to do…”

“I was thinking we would watch a movie. There are so many wonderful romance movies I want to introduce you to. Have you seenMy Fair Lady?” she asked, still standing by the door.

Demetri stood and walked slowly towards her. “I have not. But I think that is enough TV for today. I have something else in mind.”
