Noelle started walking another direction towards the hall closet. “We could play a game. Have you ever played Monopoly?”
“I will play a game, little lamb. I was thinking of a different one.”
She walked backwards without taking her eyes off of him. “What game do you want to play? I can see if I have it. I don’t have many.”
“It is called the wolf and the lamb. Have you heard of it?”
She backed into the wall and he used his arms to box her in.
Her eyes widened. “I haven’t heard of that game. Must be a Greek game. I, um… guess we’ll have to find something else, since I don’t have that one,” she said breathlessly.
Demetri leaned in and whispered close to her ear. “This game does not require a box. It only requires two people. Enna, one.” He pointed to himself. “And Thee-o, two.” He placed his hand on her chest. Her heart raced beneath his palm.
“Wha... what happens next?” Her eyes were as big as saucers.
“I am the wolf and you, of course, are the little lamb. Do you understand so far?”
“Yes,” she whispered.
He took a step back. She had a disappointed look on her face. You want me as much as I want you. Little trickster. You will not be disappointed. He said in a calm voice, “Since you are the lamb, I will hunt you. I will give you a head start. When I say go, you run… Go!”
For a second, she froze. Then, suddenly, she ran towards the kitchen and stood behind the island.
He strolled towards her. “Do you think you can run from the wolf, little lamb? The wolf always catches its prey.”
She moved around the island as he followed her, keeping a distance between them. “How do I win the game?” she asked.
“You let the wolf catch you,” he grinned.
“That doesn’t sound like winning to me,” she shook her head.
“I promise you, the rewards you will receive when I catch you will be most enjoyable,” he teased.
She ran towards the bedroom and started to close the door and claim victory, “I wiiii...”
He wedged his foot in the door just as it was about to close before slowly pushing it open. She walked backwards, stopping at the foot of her bed. “Ella tho, koukla mou.” He wasn’t sure if she knew ‘come here my doll’ in Greek, but nonetheless, she didn’t move. “You can’t run from the wolf. He always catches his little lamb.”
“Oh!” Noelle squeaked as Demetri pulled her towards him. He lifted her into his arms, and they fell to the bed laughing, tangled in each other’s arms. As the clothes fell from their bodies, their hands and mouths explored each other, with Demetri savoring every touch.I don’t know how I lived without you these last few months.Demetri made love to Noelle, with every thrust and kiss stoking the flame inside him to an incomprehensible fire. He burned for this woman, to his very core, and it scared him more than he would ever admit.

The next morning, Claire, Niko, and Caroline were getting ready to leave for the airport as Noelle prepared for work.
“Did you guys have fun last night?” Noelle asked as she got her things together.
“I would venture to say Claire Bear definitely did,” winked Caroline.
“Oh really? Do tell!” Noelle asked.
“Eli is so nice. We had fun. And we might have shared a little kiss.” Claire blushed.
“That’s awesome, Claire!”
“It was niiiiice.” Claire grabbed her purse from the counter. “And no bad breath.”
Niko walked into the living room. “You kids about ready?”
