Page 4 of The Wrong Guy

My nose greedily smells the smell I haven’t smelled in a long time. This smell stirs something inside of me that I once thought was dead.

After going through this with Derek, I thought my days of desire were over. I didn’t know I could feel like this over someone else.

I shudder to think I didn’t feel this desire thicken in my body over my husband.

The desk in the middle of the office is equally as dominant as the rest of the ornate office. It is a desk that screams corporate takedown and proves I’m way over my head. There is no way I could afford this attorney.

Suddenly, the windows that overlook the city seem to darken as a man in what I can only assume is an expensive suit turns to look at us. His suit is tailored to his lean and larger body. He smiles at me with winter white teeth and full lips, which curve his beautiful face to resemble something else. He almost looks like a lion seeing prey for the first time.

I would have run out the door if my feet didn’t feel like wet cement. The issue is that I need the help this man can provide me. I have heard Andreas mentioning Stavros in the past, and I know he’s the man for the job.

Plus, with the research I found on him and his win ratio, I know he is the man I need.

“This must be Audrina,” he says with charm and ease.

I could only nod my head like a bobblehead. What is wrong with me?

This isn’t my first time around attractive men and it won’t be my last time around beautiful men. This is also not my first time being around powerfully rich men, either.

The tie around his neck glimmers in the light of the office, making me fantasize about wrapping my hand around it to pull him in. I fight the intrusive thoughts over grabbing the tie and climbing his body so my legs are around his waist. I also fight back the fantasy I never realized I had about him laying me on the desk and then-.

“Yes, this is my sister,” Andreas replies, nudging me into the office.

I stumble and grab one of the leather chairs to steady myself. “Hi. Thank you for meeting with me,” I whisper politely.

“Please take a seat. Andreas, you’re free to go,” Stavros dismisses my brother, leaving me missing him and then wanting him to leave.

“Stav, what the hell?” Andreas steps in front of me and into the other man’s space.

Stavros looks as if he’s not backing down, and I sit in the chair he all but ordered me to sit in. His eyes led my brother to the door, and my brother looked back at me with a question. He wants to make sure I’m okay.

Without hesitation, I nod to give him the confirmation that he needs to leave. Even though I’m not okay with him going, I need to review these divorce proceedings with my new attorney.

I’m fidgeting in the seat while my brother makes one last effort to stay. He quickly realizes that he isn’t going to win and leaves the office. I’m sitting here all alone with the Big Bad Wolf.

Chapter Four

Stavros

=Usually, I would be happy about seeing a woman as beautiful as Audrina fidgeting in her seat over being alone with me. Normally. However, this isn’t an ordinary case meeting.

I’m doing a favor for a partner, and I can’t be thinking about all of the ways I want to pick up this pretty woman by her ass cheeks and throw her on the desk. Or lifting the skirt of her dress and fucking her against the windows. Or how I bet she would taste sweet with my tongue plunged in the middle of her lovely thighs.

“Audrina,” I try her name on my lips to see how it feels to say her name.

“Stavros,” she replies, probably with the same intentions. “Thank you for meeting with me. I’m sorry about my brother.”

I smirked at her and took a seat. Once I’m comfortable enough to continue, I lay out the statements of her divorce. Her soon-to-be ex-husband is a piece of shit and tried to screw this woman out of everything. I’m glad she’s here.

I don’t usually begin researching until I’m sure I will be representing someone. Judging by how nervous Audrina is looking, I’m sure she thinks there is nothing I can do to helpher. Of course, that would have been the case if I didn’t find the shit that Derek, what a douche-bag name, had tried to hide from Audrina all along.

The amount of shit I have found is enough to get Audrina whatever she wants in the divorce settlement, but she has to be willing to play my game.

“I had a chance to look at the pre-nuptial agreement you entered into before your wedding, and I’m glad you’re here.”

She shifts her weight in the seat as she takes it all in. “I know. He gets everything he amassed while we were married. I do not want anything besides what I brought to the table.”

I look at her sitting there innocently and start to go through the holes in this seemingly iron-clad prenup. “I don’t advise you to give anything away. There are a lot of holes in this agreement, and I can get you more.”
