“One of our men.” I look at Jasper and his face turned redder than it already was.

“I’m going to kill him.” I sigh.

“Jasper please don’t we just got rid of ATF we don’t need them to come back. I left him it’s done with.”

“Good. Daniel is going to lose it when he sees your face.” Jasper says in a worried tone.

“I know. Where is he anyway?” They were quiet for a solid minute.

“Dealing with a problem.” I nod my head.

“I’ll tell him that you are here.” Spencer says. It’s been two hours since I got to the house I was playing with the kids when Spencer walks in and Lilly runs into her daddy’s arms he picks her up and kisses her forehead.

“Daniel says to go to his place we will be there soon.”

“I don’t have keys to the house.” He hands me a key.

“Now you do. You should go before he gets home.” I give the kids hugs and kisses before leaving. It’s not like I’m going far they all live on the same block, they are just two houses down. I unlock the door and walked inside. I looked at myself in the mirror and the swelling went down a bit. I walk throughout the house I’m a little nervous about seeing Daniel when he gets home after what happened this morning. I hear the door open then close.

“Katy?” I walked over to the front and when Daniel sees my face his face turns red his hands are in a fist and is about to walk out the front door. I rush to the door and close it.

“Don’t do it Daniel I’m okay and I left him we don’t have to deal with him just let it go.” He turns around and grabs my face softly.

“You left him?”

“I did and I punched him, I think I broke his nose.”

“That’s my girl.” I look into his eyes there’s something bothering him and it’s not the bruised face.

“What’s going on Daniel?”

“How do you know something is wrong?”

“Because I know you Daniel. What happened today? I know you guys lost a man today, but there’s more to it the guys got all quiet when I asked about it.”

“There’s something I need to tell you and your not going to like it.”

“Oh okay.” I have a bad feeling about this.

“Your father is the one who killed our guy and stole my money.” You got to be fucking kidding me he never fucking learns.

“Daniel I’m so sorry.”

“That’s not all that happened. When I got to him he had a plan he said he will pay half of it and he gave you to me.”

“Are you fucking kidding me? I’m so tired of paying for his sins every fucking time he gets himself in trouble.”

“Katy there’s one more thing.”

“What now what can get worse than my father keeps on selling me off until I pay his debts off?”

“How many times has he done this?” Daniel asked with irritation.

“A lot. Not that I’m surprised that you took the deal what was the other thing?”

“If I didn’t take the deal he was going to press a button on his phone and have some men take you and if I kill him men would take you and I will not be able to find you. So you bet your ass I took the deal. I’m not going to lose you or let your father hurt you more than what he has already.” My body shudders he is despicable why do I always have to pay for his sins I just want to live my life I’m so angry and frustrated that tears start to stream down my face. Daniel wipes away my tears than wraps his arms around me.

“I won’t let nobody hurt you Katy.”
