“I will be okay Daniel, just need to clear my head and everything will be okay.”

“Are you sure?” I ask worriedly.

“Yeah it’s just been stressful lately.”

“That’s true, it's why I came up with a family day, when the family all get together no work no business just a relaxing day once a week.”

“That sounds great we can all use a family day.” JJ smiles brightly it looks like he’s looking forward to it and I’m glad that Spencer wanted to do this as much as me. It will be great for the family in every way possible.

I walk into the living room and Jasper looks exhausted as hell. Jasper opens his eyes and gives me a small smile.

“You look like shit.”

“Thanks Daniel. It’s what happens when three kids get sick back to back.”

“That sucks.”

“Yeah it does. Is Kate still at the hospital?”

“No she’s back, I asked her to go to the store for me.” Thea says with a worried look on her face.

“She should be back by now though that was thirty minutes ago.” I have a bad feeling about this. I grab my phone and send her a quick message.

Daniel- Katy where are you?

A minute passes and I didn’t hear anything back and she always messages me back quickly.

Daniel- Baby please respond.

“Has she responded back yet?” Jasper asks with a worried look all over his face.

“No she hasn’t. Jasper I have a bad feeling about this.” Jasper gathers the guys, my phone goes off and a picture of Kate tied up to a chair with blood flowing down her face. I clenched my phone. I can feel the anger go through my body.

“Daniel what is it?” Christopher asks. He sees my phone.

“Son of a bitch.”

“They are dead.”

Katy- If you want her back alive I want 50 million and come by yourself. I’ll send you direction in 30 minutes.

“They want 50 million and for me to come alone.”

“That is not happening.” Christopher says strongly.

“Jasper the money I left at the casino from Micheal, can you go get it?”

“Okay. Are you really going to pay them the money?”

“Of course not, I’m just going to act like I’m going to, but they will pay for what they did we need to make a plan.” Jasper leaves the house and I start to pace the room. Christopher squeezes my shoulder and I took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

“Kate is going to be fine, she’s a strong woman she won’t go down without a fight.”

“I know she is, I just don’t understand why this happened. I do have a good feeling whose responsible and I will make him pay for his sins.”

“Who do you think is responsible?”

“Micheal. Kate’s father it has to be him. He was very smart when he stole the money and killed our guy. He paid back half the money he stole and that’s the same amount they are asking for.”
