“Why would he though it makes no sense?” JJ asks.

“Nothing he has ever done made sense. He’s just a piece of shit he always made Kate’s life hell. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do, and I’m done letting that bastard hurt her anymore. When I get the address I want you guys to stay on the outside and handle the guys. I will go inside and Christopher you will be at my side.”

“Always brother.” Jasper walks in and he brought a bag with him. I open the bag and I start counting making sure it’s all there. I know Kate, she has a major temper and she won't be quiet once she wakes up they just better not lay one more finger on her head. My phone goes off and the address pops up. I look at my brothers and they nod their heads. It’s time for them to pay for their sins.

Chapter Six

Kate

My head is throbbing and I feel like I’m about to be sick. I try to move, but I couldn’t I winced when I tried to move my hands and something was gripping my wrist. I slowly opened my eyes to see an abandoned building.

“It looks like she’s starting to wake up.” I should’ve been more careful when I got a bad feeling. I look up and see two men and I sigh.

“Who sent you?” I ask irritably.

“Why do you think someone sent us?”

“Most people are not that stupid to take a member of the Jerome family. Did my father send you?”

“You are smarter than you look.” Why am I not surprised he always loves making my life a living hell, but this time he fucked up because he no longer has a safety net.

“You guys must be stupid following orders from a man who is stupid and doesn’t care about anyone but himself. He’s gotten you all killed and himself included.”

“We are going to be fine they won’t try anything stupid since we have you.” I laugh than winced my head is pounding and it feels wet and that’s not a good sign at all. I’m going to need stitches and I probably have a concussion, Daniel is going to be very pissed.

“Is that what my father told you, man you are so fucking stupid.”

“You are all going to die, including my father. Jerome's don’t play nice with others especially when it comes to family. I hope whatever he promised you was worth it.”

“You talk too much.” I shrug my shoulders.

“Usually I wouldn’t stay quiet but I won’t be here for long, so I’m just going to enjoy the show.”

“You don’t have a problem that your boyfriend kills for a living?”

“I don’t have a problem that my fiancé kills bastards for a living. It’s the family business and if I could get out of these, I would kill you myself.”

“I don’t think you have what it takes to kill someone.”

“I love when people underestimate me, it always makes things more fun for me.” Come on Daniel where are you? God my head is fucking throbbing how hard did my head hit the damn car? He needs to get his ass here already, I know they made a plan so they need to hurry the fuck up. I just want to go home I’m so fucking tired of my father and his sins. He is going to pay for his sins it’s finally catching up with him, I will enjoy my freedom. Daniel walks in the door and drops a bag. I never doubt their plans, but this can’t be right there has to be more to this plan than just paying the money.

“Katy are you okay?” He looked into my eyes and I can see the worry in his eyes.

“I’m fine, my head is throbbing and I want to go home.”

“We are going to have to take a detour before going home.”

“Yeah that might be a good idea.”

“Enough with the chit chat.” Daniel glared at the guy. The second man grabbed the bag of money and before he opened the bag a gunshot went off and he was on the ground and Daniel pointed his gun on the guy I was talking to.

“Don’t even think about it.” Daniel says, Christopher comes out of the shadows and points his gun at the man as well.

“There’s more of my men here, you might want to rethink this Daniel.”

“You really think I came alone you are very stupid.”

“Yes he fucking is, now would you get me the fuck out of here.” Daniel gives me a smile.
