??????.[seichas] = Now.

???? ?????? ???????[yest drugiye voprosy?] = Any other questions?

???????![konieczno!] = Of course!

It takes us an hour to prep Nicole’s body since we brought in Alexei, Travis, and Ethan to show them how we handle this. Then we went through our sterilization process. We took turns showering and showed the guys where they could store extra clothes down here for when this happens. In the meantime, they used some spare club shirts and sweats.

As we walk upstairs, I try to push down my irritation that Spitfire thought she had to go behind our backs to question Nicole. After this morning’s bust, I had thought about asking her if she’d be willing to do it as Thor had, but I also didn’t want her to feel pressured into doing it. Then again, maybe her way was better.

Sighing, I head to the bar and Drae hands me a drink. Seeing Bear over by the pool tables, I head over to him.

“Hey Dragon. Wanna play?”

“Sure. Rack ‘em up.”

He starts racking the remaining balls on the table and I go around to each pocket, pulling out the remaining ones. Grabbing a cue stick, I chalk the end.

Bear reaches into his cut and pulls something out, popping it in his mouth before offering me one.

“Rolaids? What the hell, brother? Worried that much about a game?”

He grins and shakes his head. “Trust me on this. Take one and you’ll get through supper better because of it.”

I stare at him, confused, and when he offers it again, I take one. “What do you mean?”

“Let’s just say we’re all well-versed in each other’s methods of payback.”

Turning, I look through the pass-through, and from what I can see; the girls are prepping onions, potatoes, and salad. What could be so wrong with that? When I turn back around, Bear’s shoulders shake with laughter.

“Didn’t notice the padlock on the last fridge, did ya?”

Slowly, I turn back around, and it isn’t until I get further into the common room that I notice it. Turning back toward Bear, he laughs again.

“And don’t get any bright ideas about picking the lock to see what’s in there. They’ve no doubt wrapped everything in such a way that they’ll know something’s been tampered with and then there’ll be even more hell to pay.”

He shivers and I swallow thickly. Fuck, was this why she insisted we all be here for supper?

An hour and a half later, we’re all lounging around the common room when someone bangs on a pot.

“All right everyone, we’re going to be doing things a little differently for supper tonight. Please take a seat and dinner will be out for you shortly. If prospects not on bar duty could come and help carry out plates, that would be much appreciated.”

I catch Thor’s gaze and notice him swallowing thickly. Honestly, I’m a little glad he’s getting squeamish. Glancing around the room, everyone except for her family members seem oblivious to what’s about to happen.

Everyone heads to the bar where Colt’s handing out drinks. Grabbing a beer, I find a table and sit down. I wonder if the ladies will also be eating the same things as us? Hell, for that matter, will the prospects too?

Between the bunnies, prospects, Sasha, Roxy, and Spitfire, they make quick work of bringing out plates. I’m surprised there are domes on them. I didn’t even know we had them.

When all the plates are passed out, each person takes a table and Levi comes to ours. She starts it off by pulling the dome off Thor’s plate and then goes around the table removing the rest of the domes.

“Enjoy,” she says with a smirk before putting a piece of paper face down on the table and walking off to help some of the bigger tables.

It takes me a bit before I realize what’s on my plate.

Liver and onions with bacon sprinkled over the top. For sides, there’s a salad and potatoes n’ gravy.

I have to bite my lip as I look over at Thor, who’s staring at his plate like it’s going to kill him. Fuck, he hates liver and onions. Dad always loved it and we had it at least a couple of times a month. I actually like liver and onions, and now that I think about it, this may be one of the few things Thor and I disagree about.

Looking around the table, Judge, Patch, and Bones are also staring at their food. Figuring I think I may know what’s on the piece of paper, I pick it up, determined to mess with them some more. Serves the fuckers right.
