She shook her head. She wanted to buy more, but it wasn't in her budget right now.
"Ah, well lucky for you, I always carry around a stuffed animal when I meet someone new," he said and her eyes grew wide, holding onto every word he said. "We can't have Trixie being all alone, can we?"
"No," she said as she shook her head fast.
It wasn't nice to keep stuffies all alone. Even though Trixie wasn't alone because she had Sofia and Mattie, she wasn't always there, and she wanted Trixie to have a forever friend.
"Would you like another stuffie?" he asked and she nodded her head.
Who wouldn't want another stuffie? That was the real question.
"I got lucky this time. I had no clue you liked cows and yet, I brought a mini cow," he said as he pulled a mini white and black cow from behind his back.
A squeal of joy flowed out of her as she grabbed the mini cow. It was so cute and she knew Trixie would be great friends with her.
"What do you say?" Daddy asked as he tapped her nose.
She looked up at him before looking at Antonio.
"Thanks yous!" she said as she hugged Trixie and Paz to her chest.
"You're welcome," Antonio said as he stood up.
"We're going to be headed home now. I don't have anything else to do," Daddy said. "You'll be staying with us?"
"Yes, sir," Ezra said.
"Good. Follow me."
Sofia turned around and snuggled into her Daddy's embrace as he stood up, holding her tightly against him. He was super strong, and she loved that about him. Though, even if he wasn't, she was pretty sure she would still love him.
CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE
SOFIA
It was weird having Antonio and Ezra in the house with her and her Daddy. It was hard to act normal when there were two strangers in her house. Daddy had told her last night before they went to bed that she should be herself, but that was easier said than done.
Not many people had seen her Little side or heard her call Jaxson Daddy. She wasn't ashamed, but it was weird or uncomfortable for her. What if they judged her? She was trying to get better about not caring, but she was a caring person and it was hard. She wanted people to like her and she wanted to make friends.
Thankfully, most of the Littles she knew were people from the club who were super nice. Well, most of the people she knew were from the club. She saw the occasional person at the grocery store that she saw each time, but that had been a while. Daddy had been taking care of the groceries and making sure that she was eating enough.
Sofia was pretty sure she was gaining some weight. And it wasn't a bad thing. She had lost weight when she moved to the United States because she didn't have enough money to eatthree meals a day but now, she doesn't have to worry about that. Daddy was taking care of her.
Breakfast had passed without much of anything. Ezra and Antonio had joined them. When Antonio finished, he went back to his guest room to get to work on trying to figure out who this person was. Ezra had stayed and sat in the living room with her.
Daddy had been weird the past twenty-four hours. Ever since she walked into his office yesterday, something had been off, but she brushed it off yesterday. Maybe all this stress was getting to him? She didn't want to worry him about anything, but she was worried about him.
Was he okay?
He kept looking over at her every once in a while and just staring. Not that she minded, but it was different than normal. The look in his eye was different and she wanted to know why, but she didn't know how to ask him. Did she just flat out ask him or did she put more skill into it?
He was also quieter than normal and hadn’t reminded her nearly as often as he normally did to drink her water. It was still quite a lot, but not as much and it worried her. What was on his mind? Did something go wrong?
"Play with me, Daddy?" she asked as he looked at her once again.
He was currently walking towards the kitchen, no doubt to fill her water bottle. He had been obsessed with her drinking water since she said yes to him being her Daddy. She understood his obsession, but at the same time he took it to a whole new level.
"Maybe in a little bit. I need to make you a snack to eat and fill up your sippy cup," he said.
