Her cheeks turned a delicious shade of pink, and I grinned.

Adrianna

The pale alpha, Lucien, refused to listen to a word I had said during the car ride. I blushed, remembering the way he had held me and licked me in the car. I felt hot all over and gladly welcomed the privacy of the room they had shown me to.

We were in some sort of giant mansion, clearly on the better side of town. I could hear muttering outside the room door, but I didn't care. I had closed and locked the door without another word to any of those alphas.

They couldn't admit that they made a mistake bringing me here. They were probably too prideful. I heard alphas could get that way. So, I guess I'll be stuck waiting until tomorrow to play by their stupid rule, and then I would be free to go when they discovered I wasn’t an omega.

But it didn't mean I had to see them in the meantime.

Was the freaking air conditioning on in here? My thighs were damp from the heat. You would think a fancy place like this would have good air conditioning. I walked further into the room and saw a small shower in the bathroom.

Perfect.

At least I could cool off there. I peeled off my clothes, struggling to pull off my now-damp jeans. I hopped in and turned on the water to the coolest setting. I shivered as the cool water hit my body, but I still felt burning hot from within.

What the hell was going on?I stayed there for a few more minutes until my stomach started cramping from the cold water. I sighed and got out, drying off with a towel. Another wave of cramps hit my stomach, and I let out a whimper.

I looked around but didn't find any clean clothes to wear. I didn't want to wear the same clothes I had on before as I hung my wet jeans over a chair.

Oh well.

I let the towel drop to the floor and climbed into the massive bed in the center of the room. I slid, naked, into the beautiful, soft red bedsheets.

This place was exquisite, nothing like I had ever seen before.

I would have enjoyed this experience if it weren't for the whole kidnapping part. I clenched my teeth together as my stomach balled up on itself again. I wish I had some pain reliever medicine with me right now.

I had cramps before, but this pain was on a whole other level. My body was clamping down on itself while my skin was heating. I felt the moisture between my thighs again.

Was I bleeding?

I lifted the sheets but couldn't see any blood. Since arriving here, I didn't eat or drink anything, so it couldn't be drugs.

I lay on my side and held a fluffy pillow against my belly, which did little to relieve the pain. I made myself as comfortable as I closed my eyes, attempting to drift off to sleep and get this night over with.

Chapter 5

Kayden

Aftersettlingthecrowd,I arrived at the mansion and found all three of my pack standing in front of what I assumed to be the omega's room.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Adrianna locked us out," Killian replied, grinning devilishly.

Hmm…Adrianna, I thought, pretty name.

Duncan walked towards me and pulled me to the side. "I think she's gone into heat already. I can hear her in pain, and I smell her scent through the door."

I raised my brows, shocked. That was fast.

“We didn’t even spend much time with her,” I said. “Has anyone been messing around with her?”

Lucien grinned. “I sat her on my lap and played with her a little. That must have brought her heat on so early.”

"Does that mean we get to keep her?” asked Killian.
