Chapter Ten
Secret Admirer POV
Everything was going according to plan until that stupid man came into her life. What the hell did she think she was doing by getting involved with him? He was going to ruin everything.
I needed to change things up a bit, especially as she would be going to Madeira soon. Yes, I knew all about her little trip. The agency had tried to keep it quiet, but nothing escaped me. Being in my position, I found out everything, whether they wanted me to know or not. I hadn’t seen her at her home address for ages. I had been watching it for days, and she never showed once. I wondered whether she had moved in with this new guy. Perhaps I shouldn’t have shown my cards so soon and let her know that I knew where she was living? I had tried to follow her the other day, but the new guy, Kye, was good at his job and could lose anyone easily. Me included.
My other idea to take her sister wouldn’t work now either, with her being out of the country. No, I was going to have to do everything in Madeira. Although that could work to my advantage, as security wouldn’t be quite so stringent as it was in the UK. I would be able to drive her all the way to the plane without being stopped at immigration until boarding. It would keep suspicions down to a minimum, especially if I said that Abigail was just sleeping.
They would never find out who I was. Not until it was too late. I needed to find a way to get from Madeira to Qatar though. My buyer was starting to get worried that I wouldn’t be able to pull this off. If I didn’t, not only would I lose the ten million dollars I had been promised, but I would also be running for my life. It was amazing how much an Arab sheik would pay for a British model. Shame Abigail wasn’t blonde, because then I could have expected at least double that.
I did have one contact that may have been able to help me with a private jet – at a cost, of course. But it would be a small price to pay for the suffering I had endured over the past two years. To see Abigail get all the fame and fortune while I had to put up with my situation at home was unbearable. But I would have my revenge.
I just needed to find a way to get the new man in her life away from her for an hour or so, whilst I took her to the airport. From what I had seen, he was never more than a few feet away from her at all times. That would prove a problem. Perhaps if I could arrange for the refreshments that were always provided to be drugged, then that would buy me the time I needed?
I had so much to plan and so little time to do it. All I knew was this time next week, I would be ten million dollars richer, and on my way to a Caribbean island where no one would ever find me.
