“Gotta go,” he tells the others, grinning. “Mill’s wants to make out before class.”

I drag him inside and close the door firmly behind us, ignoring the teasing coming from Archer and Rafe.

I turn to find him sitting on the back of a desk, looking like a relaxed king in his kingdom of adoring fans. His shirt sleeves are rolled up, showing off his toned and tanned arms. He’s left the top button of his shirt undone. It’s unfair how good looking he is without even trying.

He reaches out and grabs the waistband of my skirt, hoisting me between his legs. “Good call. Dragging me off to get nasty.”

I glower at him, prodding my finger in his chest. “I haven’t brought you in here to fake make-out. I know about the tab.”

“So,” he says, arching a brow.

“So, I’m not okay with it.” I cross my arms over my chest as he hooks his legs around me and pulls me in closer.

“Relax, Mills. It’s not like I’m short on money. Besides, I care about Chops. I just wanted to help.”

I shake my head. “It’s not your job to help us. I’m just the fake girlfriend and I was managing fine before you came along.”

He scoffs, and I narrow my eyes at him.

“What?”

“You weren’t doing fine. You were finding it difficult to manage financially and overworking yourself,” he states, frowning at me.

“Well, I’ll pay you back every penny. Send me your bank details and I’ll transfer the first payment this week.” I take out my phone, ready to make a note of his bank details.

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No, Mills,” he repeats, refusing to back down.

He likely has his bank card in his trouser pocket. I dive for his pants. He tries to grab me and asks me what I’m doing.

“Just give me your card. I’m paying you back!” I demand, getting madder with him by the minute. He grabs my arms and twists us so that I end up pinned down half on the desk, with him towering over me.

“Why do you have to be so god-damn stubborn!” he exclaims, leaning over me, with both of us breathless from the struggle.

“Just give them to me!” I buck up with my hips, trying to get him off me.

“Mills, will you quit,” He hisses. One second he’s pinning me with his hips, the next he’s pinning me with his lips. He leans over me and kisses me. I hesitate for a second before I respond. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I pull him closer, our tongues dancing with each other.

“Ah-hem. This isn’t your party pad, Mr Collings. This is a classroom!”

We both jerk apart to find Mr Wright and a group of giggling third-year students all crowded in behind him. Some have their phones out, recording us.

I’m mortified, pushing on Seb to let me up. His reaction is just to offer the teacher a lazy smirk. “Sorry Mr Wright, I just can’t keep my hands off my girl. I mean, look at her. Can you blame me?”

The female pupils gathered behind the teacher all giggle and flutter their eyelashes in response. Seb slowly leans off of me and, holding out his hand, pulls me to my feet. “Afraid we’ll have to continue this later, precious.” He swings his arm around me and guides us to the door. All the while, I’m bright red in the face and doing my best to hide under my hair.

As soon as we’re outside, I elbow him on his side.

“Ouch. What was that for?” he asks, yelping and stumbling away from me.

“That wasn’t funny! And who said you could kiss me?!”

He shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly, standing casually with his hands in his trousers pockets like he hasn’t a care in the world. “What? I heard the teacher coming. We couldn’t be caught fighting. That wouldn’t bode well if Tam got wind we were at war with each other.”

I open my mouth to respond but close it. So, he only kissed me because the teacher was coming. Well, good. It’s not like I wanted him to kiss me.
