“You know what else gorgeous cars do to me?” I ask him, leaning back in my seat and eating him up with my eyes.
“Do tell,” he says, cocking a brow and licking his lower lip.
“They make me horny. Racing, fighting, nice cars, all drive me wild.”
Archer nods his head in response. The heat in this car is on fire as we study each other. “Maybe we should do something about that.”
“Maybe we should,” I reply as I unbuckle my belt and clamber over the gear stick onto his lap. “Let’s christen my new wheels.”
Archer grips at my hips and he tugs playfully at my lower lip with his teeth. “Not out here, Scar. Security team, remember?”
I roll my hips into his. “Let them see. I don’t care.”
He gives me a look that says, ‘not a chance.’
“They don’t get to see what is for my eyes only,” he tells me as he nuzzles into my neck. “Come on, I need to get you naked and in my bed right now.”
“Yes, sir,” I jest, saluting him as he opens the passenger door and I lift my leg over him to exit.

Needless to say,we get naked in his room, and end up being late leaving for school. I’m thrilled when he agrees to let me drive us there in my new baby. When we pull into the car park at school, all heads turn to take in my car.
“Talk about sending the gossip girls crazy. An engagement announcement and a sexy as sin new car.”
Archer grins as he climbs out. I meet him at the front of the car, and he reaches for my hand and drops a kiss on the shiny rock on my finger. “I love every fucker here knowing you’re mine and they can never have you.”
“Ring or no ring, they could never have me regardless,” I inform him as we walk towards the main entrance. My smile drops into a frown when I see Georgie and Chester standing with a group of their clingers by the arches. Georgie is resting against his back and Chester has a casual arm over her shoulder, resting on her chest.
“They’re like a foul smell that just won’t go away.” I groan as our steps take us closer to them.
Archer doesn’t reply, he just grins and pulls out his phone.
“Congrats, step-sis,” Chester says as we level with them.
“Step-sis?” I repeat with a snicker.
“I have to say I’m disappointed. I thought you had more defiance in you, but no, you just roll over and agree to an arranged marriage like a good little sheep.”
I release Archer’s hand and take a step closer to the ass-wipe. “Don’t try to understand a situation you know nothing about. Maybe we’re getting married because we want forever.”
Georgie scoffs and her eyes glare coldly at me. “You’re not fooling anyone,” she says, loud enough for everyone in earshot to hear her. “Everyone knows Archer has to marry you if he’s to inherit and get his trust fund at eighteen.”
Emilia, her trusty sidekick, giggles and nods her head in agreement. “Like he’d marry her if he had a choice.”
Her cocky smile withers when Archer steps in front of me, a snarl etched across his face. “Be careful Emilia. I can destroy you and your family with just one call. You think it’s all about my legacy? It’s not. She’s everything. None of you could ever come close to her. I’d choose her every fucking day over any of you vultures. Am I clear?”
Emilia swallows and looks down at the floor, before nodding her head. “Crystal.”
Archer offers her an insincere smile. “Glad we cleared that up.” He reaches behind him and my hand slips in his and we move on past the now silent crowd.

The restof the day runs without a hitch. I catch many of the girls stretching their necks as I walk past, trying to get a glimpse of the ring. I’m not oblivious to the fact that near enough every girl in this place wishes it was them. It just shows how fucked up this bay is, when seventeen-year-old girls aspire to get hitched to the richest boy in the school.
“We’re having a party down by the beach tonight,” Seb announces, taking a seat beside me on the bonnet of my baby.
“Watch the paintwork,” I hiss, stroking her tenderly.
