He slowly pulled back and leaned down, cupping my face. His tongue met mine and I wondered what he felt tasting himself from me. He lifted me as he kept kissing, my legs wrapping around his hips.

He carried me back to the nest and rolled onto his back, tugging me on top of him. I sighed happily, slipping my arms around him and resting my head on his chest.

I loved listening to all three of his hearts.

“How do you feel?” he asked.

“Amazing,” I said. “And you?”

“Perfect,” he said, rubbing my back.

I groaned as he rubbed my shoulders.

Despite the fact that we were in a cave, this was the most time off I’d taken in ages. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d indulged this way with someone, spending time with them and allowing myself to fully relax.

I’d been working non-stop for over a decade.

“My sweet girl,” he hummed. “You worked so hard for me, hmmm?”

I completely melted. How could I not? “I did,” I murmured.

“When was the last time you took off?”

I sighed heavily. “I can’t even remember. I’m always working. Stella teases me about it.”

“Who is Stella again?”

“She’s my best friend. She is mated to the Lazulian prince and a Tourmalind chancellor.”

“Ah. The one you radioed. I’m sorry that she’s probably worried about you.”

“Me too. But I’ll tell her the truth when I see her…” I trailed off, yawning.

“What truth?”

“That you’re mine,” I mumbled sleepily.

He was silent for a few moments, but I was quickly drifting towards simply passing out.

“You can fall asleep on me. You’re safe here, sugar.”

I sighed as he kept massaging me.

His touch was gentle for someone who’d just had me ride his boot while having me deepthroat his cock.

Soon my blissful daydreaming turned to an afternoon nap.

CHAPTER11

Storms End

Mari

Over the next two days, Raider and I fell into a rhythm. One that was absolutely perfect.

We’d wake up, make love, swim in the pool, eat, drink, talk, and cuddle. Being with him ended up being the first time in my entire life that I was with someone who expected nothing from me. He simply basked in my existence, making me feel loved and cared for.

The more I got to know him, the more everything felt right. He was sweet, funny, and caring.
