“Good morning, monster hunter,” she taunted.
“You’re one to talk, firebird.”
Primrose scrunched up her nose. “I think I prefer starling.”
“I think I do too.” Protego smirked and brushed a warm hand against her upper thigh.
Primrose flushed at his touch. “Protego….”
Protego’s eyes darkened. He kissed down her neck, the warmth of his tongue pressing against her skin. Primrose wanted to drown herself in him, to thoroughly engulf herself in the taste of him. Their mouths collided as he brushed a finger down the smooth skin of her back, brushing against her spine. Primrose’s body shuddered, goosebumps coating her arms.
“Straddle me,” he demanded.
She obliged. Primrose pushed him towards the bed, feeling the rigid muscles of his biceps and shoulders. She hoisted a leg over his abdomen, grinding against him in heavy, languid motions. Protego groaned into her mouth as Primrose pushed her body against his. Pleasure shot its way into her core, and she felt his arousal. In a quick movement, Protego placed his hands on the inside of Primrose’s thighs and pushed her forward, her sex hovering above his mouth.
“Protego, what are you doing?” She rasped as his tongue brushed against her warm skin.
She let out a squeak as he circled her with his tongue. Protego unleashed his mouth upon her, Primrose’s back arching with every lap. Her body shook, his tongue slowly intoxicating her. Primrose grabbed the headboard, bracing herself as he wholly devoured her.
His slender fingers slowly inched inside her, working their way into her, and she softened. He stopped for a moment, and Primrose squealed in protest.
“Ride me,” he commanded in a husky voice.
She used her hips and thighs to move with his motions as he pumped his fingers inside her. Tongue still circling her, Primrose was completely dazed as his nose hit her most pleasurable spot. Approaching her apex, Primrose called out Protego’s name, convulsing as he finished her.
Laying down next to him, Primrose’s body curled up, intertwining with Protego’s.
“I love...” she started to say but paused when she felt his body tense. “I love these moments with you.”
“I do too. I want to give you enough to last a lifetime.”
“A whole lifetime?” Primrose’s cheeks flushed.
Protego kissed her forehead. “One hundred lifetimes.”
Chapter Sixteen
Primroseliftedherbodyand sat up at the sound of Sera’s voice from outside the door.
“Are you two lovebirds going to come out for breakfast?”
“Just a minute!” Primrose hollered through the door.
Protego stretched his warm beige arms. “Does she know I’m a raven, or is that an expression?”
“It’s an expression, you goose.” Primrose smiled and stood, hovering towards her dresser. She unfolded a cream, long-sleeved linen blouse, and a floor-length blue skirt. After donning them, Primrose bowed like a princess for Protego. They laughed, voices filling the room.
“Absolutely stunning, Lady Primrose.” He winked.
She squinted her eyes, causing him to chuckle loudly.
“I thought you taught yourself how to wink?”
“It comes and goes, I guess,” she said with a sigh.
Headed down the stairs towards the dining room, Primrose and Protego walked hand in hand. As they reached the sunlit room with its glass panel ceiling, Primrose smiled at Haruka who was shoving pancakes into her mouth.
“Good morning!” Primrose jovially exclaimed.
