“Ye-Joon, my man!” Marcel exclaims. “This place looks fantastic.”

“Thank you, Marcel,” Ye-Joon smiles politely. “What can I bring you?”

“Is there anything you can recommend?” I ask.

“Non-alcoholic for me, please,” Elodie says.

“And for me,” Dalila adds. When I blink at her, she just shrugs. “Luna-solidarity.”

As if on cue, Lysander pops up in my mind, his eyes narrowed.Meh, I don’t buy it.He sniffs the air slightly.I swear, Tony, she smells a bit differently.

My eyes widen as the realization seeps in. I take her hand into mine, squeezing it, but decide not to make a fuss right here. She doesn’t like having too much attention on her, and I will certainly respect my beautiful mate’s boundaries.

We order a bunch of cocktails and plenty of food. With all the pack duties and work, we are all really busy, which is why I enjoy these moments so much more.

*DALILA*

Elodie gives birth to a beautiful baby boy, and Henry is completely in love with him. Rosy, too, as she seems to be happy not to be the tiniest member of the family anymore. She grows so fast, but we all love that she won’t remain the sole baby of the family. She will have other children around her to grow up with.

And she is excited to be an aunt, though I doubt she truly understands what that means.

Tony and I, meanwhile…

“You were supposed to jinx it for Elodie,” I groan when we are at the screening. “Not for me!”

“But it’s great.” He looks so happy that my heart skips a beat. “We have a lot of genes to squeeze in. Deity genes, a werecat, and a lycan! Three sounds like a great number for it!”

“You don’t need to worry, Luna Dalila,” the doctor reassures me. “Your body might be rather small, but it’s strong. It’s not like a human’s body. Your deity genes will protect your babies.”

That’s at least somewhat of a relief. “The good thing is that werewolf pregnancies are short.” I look at her in worry. “Or will I have a normal one because I’m human?”

“No, you are carrying alpha pups. Even as a human, your pregnancy will be shorter,” she explains.

“What if one of the pups is human?” Tony wants to know. “Will we need to be worried about it then?”

“No,” she says, shaking her head. I’m so happy we have her here. Ever since Tony and I officially marked each other, she started to research human and wolf hybrids. “From what I know, even if your pup remains wolfless, it won’t be human. Genetically, it still carries your genes, too, Alpha Anthony.”

Tony beams. “Then we are safe, thank Goddess.”

“You wouldn’t mind if our pups don’t have wolf spirits?” I ask nervously.

“Not at all.” He smiles. “Whatever they are, I can’t wait to hold them in my arms. They are going to be my little baby potatoes.”

His excitement is contagious and chases my anxiety away. Anthony has the ability to look at everything from the positive side. He is an optimist through and through, and he always manages to chase my doubts and fears away. Sure, being pregnant with triplets is major, and I don’t think I’m truly ready for this… but then I’d never be ready for triplets, yet I can’t wait to hold them in my arms.

“So, what gender are you hoping for?” I ask him curiously while we walk back to our place, hand in hand.

“I honestly don’t mind,” he says. “As long as you don’t give birth to a creepy, slimy alien.”

I roll my eyes. “I knew we shouldn’t have watched that movie!”

“I’m still traumatized.”

“You are traumatized? What about me?” I frown. “That was some creepy shit.”

“But neither of us is an alien.” He grins. “So we should be safe.”

Once at home it doesn’t take long for our family to drop by. Jace’s eyes bulge when he hears we are pregnant with triplets, while Henry laughs just to be elbowed by Elodie.
