TonyandItakea well-needed break and have something to eat. Who knew meditating would feel so exhausting? In the meantime, Cassiopeia and Callum have joined us, too. I’m not sure if Callum is aware, but with his calm and composed appearance, he truly appears like a prince. And he is already clearly infatuated with Cassiopeia.

It’s late afternoon when I can finally feel the presence of my mate getting closer again. “They are here,” I say.

“Yes,” Marcel’s head perks up too.

“You won’t believe it.” Elise basically bursts through the door with Elodie hot on her heels. Before she can say any more, Marcel has already captured her to kiss her.

Elise giggles a bit against his lips. “Hm, my very own chocolate prince,” she whispers. “I missed you too.”

Elodie rolls her eyes but can’t help the look of amusement in her eyes. I pull her towards me and into my arms. We wait for Marcel and Elise to finish their lengthy greeting before Elodie clears her throat. “Eric had the arrow Arman found in Auset’s mind analyzed. One of the elders was able to reproduce it.”

“What?” Arman blinks. “Really?”

“Yes, they were able to extract the ingredients and made a replica. It’s what put Auset in a coma,” Elise explains. “They bound her lynx and the deity with it and accidentally put her into a coma.”

“Eric is convinced that now that we freed the lynx, the bindings that hold the deity are loosened too,” Elodie explains.

Elden tilts his head a bit, a frown gracing his face. “Was he able to make an antidote?”

Elise and Elodie exchange a gaze and smirk. “Yes. They are currently working on it. It should be finished tomorrow morning, then Arman can take a trip to doom again, cuddle with the cat in there, and wake up the deity.”

Arman has almost frozen in place. “Wake up, a deity,” he mutters. “It just dawned on me how crazy this is…”

“We are going through this in detail,” Elden reassures him. “For today, I want you to go home and get some rest. Tomorrow morning, you can come, and we’ll meditate a bit to help you focus.”

Arman nods. “Alright.”

“Actually, taking a rest is something I’d advise all of you to do,” he says. “Everyone here had a couple of very difficult days, and I guess a few more exhausting days are coming soon.”

I toss a gaze towards Tony.Maybe now would be a good moment,I say.To talk with Elise and Marcel? Let’s see if the two of them are up to the offer.

He nods. When Elden tells us we are free to stay at Silverlake or return home, we decide to stay a bit longer to have that talk with Marcel and Elise. Everyone else goes about their own business, leaving us and our mates behind. Tony wants to involve Dalila in all our decisions from now on, and I agree. She might not be used to our world, but she will be luna one day.

“We wanted to discuss something with you,” I start when we are alone, looking at Marcel and Elise.

“I figured.” Marcel chuckles. “You and Tony aren’t really subtle.”

“But you got us curious,” Elise says, tossing a questioning gaze at her sister.

Elodie just wraps her fingers around my hand and smiles. “We have been discussing… the four of us.”

“Well, the four of us is an exaggeration,” Dalila laughs. “They just explained things to me, and I tried to understand.”

Tony chuckles and pulls her into his arms. “The thing is that after our friend Matthew changed packs, Henry and I don’t have anyone chosen for a gamma.”

“And we know you are happy in Moon Blood and are one of the elite warriors there,” I add, looking at Marcel now.

Marcel’s face turns serious all of a sudden. “Is this what I think it is?”

“You don’t need to say yes or anything. We are not going to be mad if you decline,” Tony says. “But we all think you and Elise would be a great gamma couple.”
