She stares at me, her eyes moving from my upper chest to my lower regions.

“Like what you see?” I wiggle my brows.

She glares and tosses me a blanket. “Not at all!”

“Not at all.” I smirk, turning around to show her my ass and back while I very slowly wrap myself in the blanket.

“Okay, it’s not bad,” she mutters. “I knew you were too good-looking to be real.”

“But I am real.” I chuckle.

“You know what I mean,” she says.

“I do.” I nod while I gather my clothes and a new pair of underwear and swiftly change into them. “So…” I look at her nervously. “You are not terrified or close to running?”

“I was when you were slobbering on my face!”

“That’s called French kissing,” I say.

“That’s not…” She lets out a deep breath. “This can’t work, Tony! We can’t both be the sassy ones!”

“No?” I sit down on the couch and slide closer to her. “Now that I had my tongue all over you in wolf form, how about a real kiss?”

“I have tons of questions,” she points out.

“Hm,” I hum, my eyes fixed on her lips.

“Oh damn it,” she groans, grabbing me by my face and smashing our lips against each other. I crawl on top of her while she parts her lips, and my tongue pushes past them, engaging with her tongue. She responds to me all too willingly. To imagine, an hour ago, I found her having a breakdown and panic attack, which led to me revealing I’m a werewolf, and now, we are kissing.

It’s a real mindfuck!

When my hands trail over her body, Dalila pushes me away, though. “Not so fast!” she pants.

“Sorry,” I say sheepishly. “You are right. The mate bond is no excuse for me to push you.”

“So, how does this bond work for you?” she asks me.

“You’re my everything,” I tell her simply. “The center of my world. You feel it too, don’t you? The longing when I’m not here, the way you miss me. You can feel my emotions when they are strong enough. And your body wants to be close to mine.”

She nods tentatively.

“For me, it’s the same, but because I’m a werewolf, I feel it even stronger.” I pause. “I will answer all your questions, Dalila, every single one. And not just today. Whenever you want to know something, ask me. It’s going to be a lot to take in.” I shift around nervously, feeling how my soul is crushing by the mere thought of her leaving. “Just please don’t leave me…”

“Are these your emotions I feel again?” She blinks. She stares at me, confused. “Why are you sad, Tony? I never said I’d run.”

“The thought of you not being here is…” I pause, not sure what to tell her. I don’t want to pressure her.

“Frankly, now that I know you aren’t a wolf-worshipping cult or a nudist camp, I’m feeling much more confident to stay here.”

“You thought we were a nudist camp?” I grin.

She shrugs. “You didn’t give me culty vibes at first until I saw some wolves in the video, so this was my second-best option.” She tilts her head. “Why are the wolves you shift into so huge?”

“Werewolves are bigger than normal wolves,” I explain. “As for us, here, we are lycans.”

“Are lycans what I think they are? Like enhanced werewolves?” She wants to know.

I nod.
