“I may have.” Damian wrapped his arms around me. “I had to figure out a way to get you all dressed up without raising suspicion.” He said with a chuckle. “And to keep you busy while I coordinated everything else.”

“Hmm then I guess I forgive you.” I gave him a coy look, and he squeezed my hand.

Sarah and Carter came up, “Took you long enough, Dame.” Carter play punched Damian.

“Shut up.” Damian rolled his eyes.

Sarah had Charlotte strapped to her chest, and she gave me a hug around the baby. “We’re so, so happy for you two. Plus, I’m excited for Charlotte to have a playmate soon.”

Jules and my parents found their way over, and then Damian’s mom, all greeting us with heartfelt celebration. We had so many things to celebrate.

I was alive, my baby was healthy, and I was starting a new life with the person I loved most in the world. I couldn’t be happier.

“Let’s get this party started.” Carter cued up the music and started pouring the champagne, passing it around for everyone.

I eyed the enormous ring on my finger.

“Don’t sell that one.” Damian teased.

“Never.” I teased back.

“I can’t wait to have a million more babies with you.” Damian stood behind me with his arms wrapped around me.

“Let’s just start with this one, and see how we do.” I said with a laugh.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the stairwell. “I need a quick moment with my future wife.” He pressed me up against the wall, his hands making me melt. “You’re going to be Mrs. West.” he breathed into my ear.

“It has a nice ring to it.” I admitted breathily as his mouth worked over my jaw and neck.

He kissed me passionately before pulling back and rubbing his hand tenderly over my belly.

“I love you Addison. I will always love you. I knew you were the one, the second day we were together in Hawaii.”

“You have?” I beamed up at him.

“Mhmmm.”

“I have a secret.”

“What’s that?”

“So have I.” I smiled at him coyly.

DAMIAN

I gotthe okay from Dr. Clifton to take Addison on a quick trip on the jet. We were flying to Chicago, so I could get my wife-to-be some deep-dish pizza. Her pizza cravings had been driving her crazy lately, and I needed to get her the best.

“I’ve heard Giordano's is the best.”

“Well, you’re wrong, it’s Ginos.”

“Well, I guess you’ll just have to take me to both, won’t you?”

“I guess so. But I’m going to need an appetizer first.” I looked at her with a gleam in my eyes.

When the plane had leveled out, picked her up and walked her to the room in the back of the jet, consuming her mouth with mine.
