“Scared of what?”

“You,” he admitted. “Pushing you too far, too fast… I know you, Leo. You like your routines and you hate change, I just didn’t want me trying to change things between us to mess with your head.”

Always thinking about me. I released a slow breath and leaned in, needing his mouth on mine. “Sometimes, change is for the better.”

We kissed again, a soft brush of lips that held a spark of hunger.

“Let’s get back home,” Kit said eventually and I smiled. I’d nearly forgotten we were standing outside—PDA clearly wasn’t going to be an issue for me after all.

I nodded and we didn't speak again until we got home and made our way upstairs into his room, kicking off our shoes.

I sat on the bed beside him and waited for him to talk. We’d had the last of the walk back to think about things, I could only hope he wasn’t regretting anything. He watched me in turn and licked his lips, opening his mouth and closing it like he wasn't sure where to begin, like his flow had been disrupted by what we’d spoken about outside.

"Kit," I began and he shook his head decisively.

"Right now, I don't want to talk. I just want to kiss you. Okay?"

I hesitated but then nodded. Whatever happened next, I wanted him. Whatever he was offering. It would have to be enough.

Unlike the other times we'd kissed, this was slow. Unhurried. Just for us. I tasted him, his need, his desire, on my tongue and met him breath for breath as his hands fell to my shoulders to tug me closer.

My name was a whispered prayer on his lips and I wanted to bathe in the sound, bottling it so I could hear it whenever I wanted. He peeled his tee off and over his head and helped me with mine as our hands explored lower, tracing over the ridges of our chests, learning the skin and reactions of every inch we could touch.

I reached for his zipper and his eyes closed as I palmed him, stroking his cock over his jeans before I freed him. I let my hand explore his full length slowly, tracing the veins that run down his side with my fingers before following the path with my tongue and enjoying the sound of him panting for me.

Kit tugged me upright and kissed me, harsher, rougher than before, and I met him bite for bite, moan for moan as we kicked off our trousers to leave each other bare.

I ran my hands down his body, appreciating him in the low-light of his bedside lamp, the way his hair hung low over his eye, brushing his jaw when he tilted his head back on a moan.

"I need you," he murmured and the admission broke me as we laid back against the covers and our hands found each other, stroking slowly and then faster until he grew slick beneath my hand and my hips jerked helplessly into his palm.

"Kit," I gasped and he nodded.

"Yes, yes."

I came a few moments before he did and then grimaced at the mess coating each of us. "Shower?" I offered and he nodded with a quick grin.

"Only if you'll let me wash your back."

"Deal."

I knew we needed to talk. Soon. But for now, I was going to relax and enjoy the vision that was a soapy Kit under the spray of water.

"I'm glad I can finally look at you like this," I said with a smirk. "After-game showers were… difficult."

Kit laughed as he finished rinsing his hair. "You thought you were being so sly. I know you looked, Leo. It's okay to admit it. I looked too."

"You did?"

"I'm only human," he murmured as I stood with him under the water. "There's only so much temptation I can take."

I kissed him, twining our tongues and biting his lip until we were both sporting semis again. I looked down ruefully and sighed.

"Sorry."

Kit grinned. "I'm not."

"You're going to run out of bedding at this rate," I said, thinking about the mess we’d made.
