“Yes.”

He lined up his cock and started carefully pushing into her. He stopped when he got half of it in.

“More.”

“No. I’ll make you come and give you what seed I have.”

He slowly thrust into her, never going deeper, faster, or harder. He felt her tighten on him almost immediately, and he wasn’t too far behind. It was agony holding off the primitive instinct that raged through him.

His fingers pressed on her clit as he fucked her in shallow thrusts. “Come for me, Mate.”

He pressed a hand down on her stomach when she tried to arch. “Easy. I don’t want you moving.”

His jaw started to ache because he was gritting his teeth. This was pure torture, but it was worth it watching Sage orgasm. That’s all it took to push him over. He held himself still inside her, arched his neck as the sweet pain raced through him, and felt every pulse as his seed emptied into her.

When it was done, he waited to regain his breath before pulling out of her. The sight of her asleep and trusting made him already love her. He never thought it would happen so fast.

He moved her up to the bed, lay beside her, and covered them both. She sighed when he wrapped his body around hers.

“You’re mine forever, Mate.” The rest of the day passed, and he made her sit on the sofa or in bed, and she would nap periodically. He could tell the healing was going much faster than he thought and was pleased. The faster she got her strength back, the sooner they could mate properly.

Chapter Five

Sage rolled to her back and sighed. She couldn’t remember being this happy or feeling so good.

She looked around and then listened to see if she could hear Jacob. When she didn’t, she pulled on the t-shirt he’d given her the day before and walked out of the room. She started to hear voices coming from the main part of the cave and headed that way.

Before Jacob blocked her, she saw three men that looked very much like Jacob and guessed they were his brothers.

“Brother, we know not to come closer. Can we at least meet her?”

Sage yanked on the back of his shirt, getting his attention.

He looked over his shoulder at her. “What, Mate?”

“I want to meet them. Remember, they’re my brothers now, too.”

Jacob sighed.

“Ryker, throw me the blanket on the sofa.” After he caught it, he turned and wrapped it around her so it covered her from her shoulders to her knees.

Jacob turned back to his brothers and wrapped an arm around her shoulders to keep her in place.

“Guys, I’d like you to meet my mate, Sage.”

He looked down at her and pointed to the men. “That’s Ryker, Holden, and Eric.”

“It’s nice to meet you,” she said.

“You, too, sister,” Ryker said. “Our brother has waited for you a long time. I’m glad you’re finally here.”

“I did the best I could to get here as fast as possible, but you know,”—she shrugged nonchalantly and then grinned—”things happen.”

The men laughed.

Sage looked at Jacob. “How many brothers do you have?”

“There are six of us,” Jacob said.
