“You do all the cooking for everything, cousin. Just sit back and let someone else serve you for a change.” I patted his shoulder.
The guys and I went outside while the girls stayed inside.
“I hope all your wives loved their Christmas gifts.” I smirked.
“All is forgiven.” Sam smiled.
“Emilia loved her new Chanel handbag,” Sebastian said.
“So did Georgia. She also loved the new five-thousand-dollar ring I bought her.”
“Stefan?” I glanced at him.
“Alex is great. She loved everything I bought her, and when I told her I’m going to start the remodel on our kitchen, she took me straight into the bedroom.” He grinned.
“Did you guys Facetime Grayson and Gabriel this morning?” I asked.
“Yeah,” Simon said. “It was great to see them. They’ll be joining us up at the cabin for New Year’s.”
“Yeah. That’s what Gabriel told me when they Facetimed me.” I smiled. “Stefan, how much longer until the houses are done?”
“At least another month. I’ve got crews working day and night. The foundation for the pools was just poured.”
“I can’t believe they’re putting in pools when they have the entire ocean just a few steps away,” Sebastian said.
“I love it.” Conner grinned. “We can hang out at their houses and go swimming.”
We enjoyed a magnificent dinner, delicious desserts, and a couple of after-dinner cocktails.
“So, what did you think?” I walked over to Sebastian and hooked my arm around him.
“I’ll admit it was good.” A smirk crossed his lips.
“It was good. But between you and me, your cooking is way better.” I tighten my arm around him.
“Thanks, cousin.”
“Well, ladies, we better get home and start packing,” Julia said as we all gathered in the living room.
“Pack? Pack for what?” Sam’s brows furrowed.
“Our girl’s trip.” She cocked her head at him.
“What girl’s trip?” Shaun asked as he looked at Jenni.
“My sisters and I are flying out tomorrow morning for Aspen,” Jenni said.
“What?!” Nathan exclaimed.
“Jenni rented us a beautiful chalet. We’re going skiing.”
“You cannot ski, Charlotte!” Conner pointed at her. “You’re pregnant!”
“Emilia, Julia, and I aren’t skiing. We’re just going to relax and get away from it all.”
“Hold on a second.” Jackson’s eyes narrowed at Georgia. “You have work. In fact, you, Charlotte, and Emilia have patients.”
“My physician’s assistant is taking over my patients while I’m away,” she said.
