Even if it took me all night.
Sleepily making my way to the kitchen, I tried to be quiet, not wanting to wake my sisters before I had coffee made. That and I wanted to spend a little more time with Joan before reality reared its ugly head.
However, fate had other plans because when I turned the corner and walked into the kitchen, I came face to face with all three of my sisters and Nevil the Geek, who quickly gave me two-thumbs up while he grinned at me like a loon.
My sisters, however, didn’t look well rested. In fact, they looked exhausted, almost as if they didn’t get any sleep at all last night.
I silently wondered if the storm kept them awake.
Making my way over to the coffeepot, I poured myself a cup when Faith cleared her throat. “Fine. If none of you will speak up, I will.”
Turning around, I looked at my sister. “What’s wrong?”
“We heard.”
Not understanding, I took my cup of coffee and sat down at the table. Thinking she was talking about the storm, I sighed. “Oh yeah, it was kinda rough last night.”
Nevil chuckled, only to have Charity slap his chest.
“Hopefully tonight won’t be so bad,” I added, and Nevil lost it. Laughing loudly, he shook his head as he got up from the table, leaving quickly before Charity could swat him with the dishrag in her hand.
“No, Zeke,” Hope whispered. “We all heard, and well…we all technically saw.”
“I know. It was freaking wild last night. Wait till I tell you what happened to Joan and I.”
“NO!” my sisters all yelled frantically.
“Geez,” I muttered. “Fine. I won’t tell you.”
Faith groaned, dropping her head to the table, banging it a few times.
Charity smirked. “We’re gonna have to spell it out for him.”
“Spell what out?” I asked, taking a drink of my coffee just as Faith screeched. “We all saw you fucking Joan in the living room last night!”
Coffee spewed from my mouth across the table.
As if it was nothing, Charity started cleaning up the mess with the dishrag. “I don’t see the problem. So, our brother got some last night. What’s the problem?”
“The problem is, we came downstairs last night and saw…I saw,” Faith muttered, her voice trailing off as she shivered. “No, sister needs to see that shit!”
“Sex is natural Faith. Everyone does it. So, Zeke got himself some last night. What’s the big deal?” Charity asked, refilling my coffee cup. “You don’t complain when Nevil and…”
“Stop right there, sis!” I said, holding up my hand. “I don’t want to hear what you are about to say.”
“Oh, but we’re supposed to hear you fuck Joan all over the living room!” Faith glared, then added. “Which, by the way, needs a complete cleaning.”
“Don’t forget the wall too,” Hope muttered.
Oh God!
No. This wasn’t happening. No. No.
Taking my cue from Faith moments ago, I was slowly banging my head on the table as my sisters continued talking about the benefits of sex and my lack of propriety when the front door burst open and in walked my baby sister, Joy.
“WHAT’S UP BITCHES!”
