"I'm not sure why either, but your laughter is contagious." Gage grins at me from my other side as we head up to the mansion.

"I think it's a fine way to end an amazing first date," Foster declares.

Dylan shakes his head as we stop in front of the door. "Laughter is a good thing, but I think there's a better way to end a date."

He swoops down and kisses me, barely a tease of his lips against mine, but it still has me straightening in Ulf's hold while I chase Dylan’s lips.

“Okay, yes, that’s a much better way to end a date,” I say, suddenly breathless, even though it could barely be counted as a kiss.

Ulf huffs. "Now, that, I can get down with."

He swings me around, and I step on my tiptoes so he doesn’t have to lean down so far. It’s another chaste kiss, and it brings a smile to my lips as I’m turned toward Gage and then Foster. Neither of them attempts to deepen their kisses either, and I kind of love it.

But just because they're chaste kisses doesn't mean they don't affect me. My body is buzzing, slick spilling into the scent canceling panties that have become a staple for me since starting on the show, and my head is a bit fuzzy as I stagger my way inside.

My hand lifts to my lips, and I can't stop smiling as I head for my room. I hear them speaking behind me, but I have no idea what they're saying. I'm too lost in the moment.

As I shut the door behind me, I admit it was a really good date—even with my minor meltdown. I'm a little sad that it's over now, but I can't wait to meet the last four suitors. I already have an amazing group of suitors so I highly doubt the last four will be disappointments.

Four suitors to meet, one last group date, and then the dreaded first rose ceremony. Then, I'll be able to see how the remaining suitors behave together in a larger group. It'll be interesting to see how that goes, but one thing is for sure, I can't wait.

Chapter Fifteen

Foster

I'm floating on cloud nine after our group date with Sophia. She's amazing. I can already see myself in her pack, and I can only hope that she feels the same way. Even if she doesn't yet, I still have weeks to convince her. She's beautiful and funny, not to mention smart. After all, she is a lawyer. I don't think you can be a lawyer if you're dumb.

"Welcome back, gentlemen."

I look up to find Hector standing on the landing where the stairs split. The four of us climb up to meet him as he gives us a smile.

"I hope that you all enjoyed your date with Sophia. If you'll follow me, it's time for your interview. Bree and Tessa have already gathered the other suitors, as they're requesting you do a group interview with the others there."

"Oh, sure." I glance at the other three, shrugging. "Sounds... interesting."

Hector laughs. "It usually is. Follow me."

He leads us up to the third-floor game room. We find the other suitors sitting on couches in a u-shape.

We join the others and following some quick introductions as we haven't had a chance to meet everyone yet, the interview starts. Doing it as a group is different, but also kind of eye opening. It's mostly me, Ulf, Gage, and Dylan doing the talking, but the others add in some comments along the way. It makes me feel like we're in this together.

Once the cameras have stopped rolling—okay, not really. It's more like the obvious cameras are put away, and we're as close to alone as we can be that we find out about Pack Duval's introduction to Sophia, which hadn't gone well. They relayed the information that they have, but it seems the only one who knows the full story is Brooks, and he's not willing to break her confidence.

"I respect that, man." I offer him my fist, and he flashes me a quick smile before he bumps it. "Maybe it's something she'll feel like opening up to us about later, and if not, then that's okay too. But at least she was able to talk about it with you."

Quinn, who is one of my favorite actors, leans forward. "One other thing that was brought up after our interview was discussing pack dynamics—"

"What he means," one of the betas says—I think his name starts with an E—as he leans forward, "is we discussed who likes to fuck men and who doesn't, so there's no questions."

I splutter at his bluntness and phrasing. Sure, I've been hanging out with Gage and Ulf who don't pull any punches, but I feel like there could've been a better way to word that.

"Ezra, my man." Jace shakes his head with a sigh. "Remember the conversation we had about how you don't always read the room right and can say the wrong thing?"

Ezra nods, and damn, I hope I can remember his name. Shit, I think I've already forgotten half the guys' names here. How the hell is Sophia keeping track?

"This was one of those times. While I appreciate you trying to get to the meat of things, there's a better way to do that."

"Ohhh." Ezra's face remains serious as he turns to us. "I apologize. Soon everyone will be here, and I can stop having to explain myself. I have autism, and it affects my ability to read social situations. I didn't mean any offense."
