And, yup, he's definitely blushing. That's adorable.
"It's my pleasure, Sophia." He gestures for me to step out so I can see all four men. "Do we get a hint of where we're going?"
"Absolutely not. What is it with men? I swear, every single set of suitors has wanted me to tell them what we're doing. That defeats the purpose of it being a surprise."
Foster throws his arm around my shoulders, pulling me against his side. Holy shit, these men make me feel tiny.
"Don't worry, Sophia. I'm all for surprises. Lead the way, omega."
"If you want me to lead the way, you're going to need to let me go."
Foster shakes his head. "Oh, absolutely not. I'm certainly not letting you go—at least not yet. In fact, maybe not ever. I like you right where you are. But since I know that we're heading to the SUV, I guess I'll lead the way."
I shake my head, laughter spilling from my lips. I don't bother to fight against his hold—if he wants me to stay there, I won't be able to break it anyway—and let him lead me past Ulf and Gage, who both shoot me a grin, and out the door.
Today's plans are a bit different from the last few days, but here's to hoping that the four of them will enjoy themselves, regardless.
We pile into the SUV, and I find myself in the back seat between Foster and Gage. Foster still has me pulled snugly against his side—not that I mind in the least—as the five of us chat on the way to our first destination.
When the SUV comes to a stop, I peer out the window with a grin.
"Best Shot Range?" Ulf is grinning when he turns back to look at me. "Did you just take two ex-Alpha Guards to a shooting range?"
"I didn't know who I'd be taking. I just had the dates planned. It just so happens that I have two ex-Alpha Guards on the date." I shrug. "I wanted to go shooting. I did paintball earlier in the week, and it didn't seem like I'd lost my touch, but who knows?"
Foster laughs. "Of course you shoot. I don't know why I'm surprised."
"Do you not shoot?" I ask him.
He scoffs. "Of course I do."
"And you, Gage?"
He shakes his head. "Ulf is always trying to get me to go to the range with him, but I haven't yet. So this'll be my first time."
"You're not anti-gun or anything, are you?"
Gage laughs. "No, not at all. I just never had a reason to learn to shoot—except Ulf trying to drag me to the range. I look forward to the challenge."
We clamber out of the SUV and head inside. While both Foster and I are good shots, we've got nothing on Dylan and Ulf. Gage does a good job for his first time, and he seems to have enjoyed himself.
Our next stop is a kickboxing class, and by the end of it, all four guys look like they've had their butts kicked—which makes me laugh.
"Come on, all four of you are in shape. How can you look this wiped?"
Ulf narrows his eyes. "This isn't the kind of workout I'm used to, little omega. It works something very different from my usual gym activity. Keep it up, and I'll drag you through my fitness program."
I bite my lip, not wanting to test him. He seems completely serious, and I don't doubt that his fitness training would kick my ass.
"I never would've thought that kickboxing was quite that intense," Foster pants, hands on his knees. "I'm going to need a shower before we head wherever we're going next. Thank goodness they thought ahead to have gym clothes for us here. There's no way I would've wanted to wear my clothes if I'd worked out in them."
I laugh again. "Don't worry, we'll all take a shower. Bree said they provided towels, shampoo, and the works, so we should have everything we need. Then we'll head to lunch, and I'll let you guys decide what we're going to do for the last portion of our date. I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to do, and seeing as one is more of a workout than the other, we can go with that if that's what everyone wants."
"Tell me more," Dylan says with a grin, but I just shake my head.
"Over lunch. Now, everyone go get cleaned up." I don't bother waiting to see what they have to say next as I spin on my heel and head for the women's changing room. They have separate showers for omegas, which is something I greatly appreciate.
Thirty minutes later, we're all clean and sitting in a private room at a steakhouse. My stomach lets out a loud growl, and I throw my head back with a laugh. "Maybe having us do kickboxing before eating was cruel, but I didn't think we wanted to do it on a full stomach. I'm starving."
