“I’m fine. I was internally shaming myself about our exploits last night without even realizing it. But I’m over it now.” I nod before turning my attention to the table at large. “How was everyone’s night?”
Conversation flows between us, and while I do get some side eyes, for the most part, I’m left alone. No one asks about what I’d been doing the night before, and I’m grateful for it.
Because I have lunch and dinner dates today, the suitors are being left to their devices for the day. I don’t know what they’ll be doing, but I know where I’ll be. I decided that for my lunch with Brooks and Dylan we’re going to have a picnic by the pond and hot springs.
Funnily enough, I’d made that decision prior to last night’s naked picnic. I can feel my cheeks flush as flashes of the night before run through my mind, sending a sharp pang of arousal through me.
Conversation falls away around me, and when I lift my head, I find all eyes on me.
“Well, shit.” I laugh, shaking my head. “You might as well get used to it. I don’t plan on using the scent dampeners or cancelers for the remainder of the show. I have to use them regularly for work so I’m enjoying my break from them.”
Asher inclines his head. “As you should.”
“But don’t think you won’t get the same reaction every time,” Carson adds with a grin. “It’s a heavenly smell.”
I suck in a breath as I scent the others’ arousal in the air. Me being turned on turns them on. That ought to make the next few weeks interesting. I suck on my teeth, trying to get my lust under control.
“And it’s up to each of you to decide if you want to use the dampeners or not. You won’t be judged for your choices, and if anyone is an asshole to you? Just let me know, and I’ll set them straight.”
Done eating, I decide I need a little downtime in my nest before the date. When Chase stands with me, I shake my head. “Stay. Spent some time with your pack before our lunch date with Dylan and Brooks.”
“Are you sure?” he asks, obviously torn. I hate what this is doing to him. I know I should just choose his pack to make it easier on him, but I can’t do that. I need to choose them because I want them, or it won’t be fair to any of us.
“Of course I’m sure. You were with me last night, and I’m stealing you away for the afternoon and evening so you need to spend time with your pack.” I lean over to kiss him before lifting my head to find Brooks and Dylan. “I’ll meet the three of you at the front door at one o’clock. We’ll be heading to another part of the property. Make sure you wear swim trunks.”
Brooks smirks as he shoots me a nod, and I can feel myself heating up again. Damn, I need to get it together and get to my nest.
“You got it, sugar plum.” My eyes narrow as I turn my full attention on Dylan, who holds his hands up in surrender. “You don’t like sugar plum. Got it.”
Chase snickers and it’s all I can do to not laugh with him. “Enjoy your day everyone. Once I’m back from my lunch date, I’ll have someone let you know what time to be ready, Ulf.”
“Of course, Sophia. Thank you.”
Once more glance at my suitors and I book it to my room. My nest is calling my name. I think I’ll take a short nap since my sleep had been interrupted multiple times by cocks, tongues, and fingers.
Not that I’m complaining. Totally worth it.
At one on the dot, there's a knock on my door. I shake my head with a laugh because I'd told them I'd meet them at the front door, but it seems they couldn't help themselves. A girl could get used to this.
I smooth my hands over the wraparound red dress I'm wearing to make sure it's in place before heading for the door. Swinging it open, I find Chase, Dylan, and Brooks standing there in t-shirts and board shorts. They look scrumptious.
"Well, hello, boys." I grin, stepping out of the room and straight into Chase when he doesn't move.
"Hello, baby. I like this dress." He's already tugging at the string that holds it closed.
I smack his hand away before it can come undone. "Hands to yourself, omega."
His face scrunches up. "But I don't wanna."
"Too bad." Brooks's voice is gruff, sending a shiver down my spine. "You're going to be a good boy and listen to Sophia, aren't you?"
Chase's eyes go wide before turning to the alpha. "You should know, I'm more of a brat than a good boy, but I think I can make an exception for you this once," he purrs, his hand running down the other man's chest. "But what do I get if I'm a good boy?"
Brooks’s eyes flash to me, and I laugh. "Uh uh. Don't look at me. You're the one who started this."
"You can have whatever you damn well please," Dylan supplies, wiggling his eyebrows as all three of us turn to face him.
Chase licks his lips, and I step up next to him. "Down, boy. We have to actually make it to the date."
