“You would,” Penny snorts.

“We don’t want a runaway bride situation,” Harmony whispers.

“I can hear you,” I protest.

“I meant you, too.”

“The guys said it usually involves sex,” I say.

“It does. That’s the fun part,” Harmony wiggles her eyebrows.

“Yay, back to sex,” Penny says gleefully, clapping lightly.

“Is that all you think about?” Serenity asks.

“Yes, when you aren’t getting any, that’s all you think about,” Penny says dryly.

“I hear that,” Marie says mournfully.

“I don’t want to rush it.” I take the chips Penny offers.

“Why wait?” Serenity asks.

“As I said before, they might change their minds,” I say unconvincingly.

“Yeah, right. Those wolves are all about you,” Serenity says.

“They are shifters. When they find their mate, the woman that is made for them, they don’t let go. They will wait for you. It’s you that has to decide whether you are ready. The change will be harder on you if you aren’t all in. I don’t know; the universe can tell that shit. If you know, deep inside your heart, that they are yours, do it when it feels like the right time,” Harmony tells me.

“They told me it can take days to complete the change,” I say nervously.

“Maybe if you talk to someone that has been through it, you’ll feel better,” Marie suggests.

“I don’t know anyone that has,” Harmony says.

“I could ask Ryker,” Serenity offers.

“Do you want to know what I think?” Penny asks.

“No,” Harmony says.

“I think you should trust in your men. Talking to someone else won’t change the facts of the change or change the end goal. If you want to be mated to them, do it.” She pops a piece of chocolate in her mouth.

“She’s right.” Serenity nods in agreement.

“You really think they will wait for me to make a move?” I ask. They initiated all of our moments together.

“Yeah, they won’t want to push you,” Harmony says.

“You could stage a seduction scene,” Penny hums. “Dress all sexy and jump them.”

“Or you could tell them you are ready,” Marie says wryly.

“What’s the fun of that?” Penny pouts.

“She’s right,” I say, looking at Penny. She grins wickedly. “All the times we’ve been together, they have taken the lead. I like it when they do, but I need to give them no doubt of my eagerness for this.”

“Do you have some sexy lingerie?” Harmony asks.
