That made me laugh but I tried to contain myself until I figured out what we were doing. “No. No one was the problem. I just… What the hell are we doing?”
“Watching a movie?” Axel’s smirk told me he’d been planning on doing more.
I took a deep breath and flipped on the light switch, making them all wince. I figured we needed all the clarity we could get, though. I knelt on the bed where I’d been lying before and swallowed as I saw the amount of attention they each gave me. “I need less ambiguity. I’ve been so used to keeping secrets and not talking about those secrets that it would be easy to operate in that space, but if we’re about to delve into some kinky group sex thing, I think I need to talk about it. If that’s not what’s happening, I think I need to talk about this anyway. This once. And then never again because I’m mortified.”
Hudson looked like he was struggling not to laugh but he sat up and nodded at me. “Let’s talk then.”
***Jenny***
“Okay.Whatthehell? I mean… What the actual hell? What are the three of you doing? I saw the women coming up to you tonight and they were each more beautiful than the last. What are you doing here?” My eyes went wide. “Is there a rumor that has already spread? Do people think I’m easy? Do they know about my ex? Obviously Iameasy. I’ve hooked up with each of you in one way or another. Oh, god. Did you each know that? Probably. Why else would group sex be on the table? Or, on the bed… You know what I mean. I swear I’d only slept with one person before I walked into this house. Even now, it’s only two!”
Ryder cleared his throat and held a finger up. “Proud to be number two.”
Axel hit him in the face with a pillow and shook his head at me. “There’s no rumors, Kitten. If anyone says a thing about you, we’ll shut that shit down. You’re not easy.”
Hudson nodded. “Even if you were, there’s not a single person on this fucking campus who could judge you. It’s college. The fact that you’ve only slept with two guys and one of them is Ryder’s mean ass kind of makes you a unicorn. There’s statistics about this campus being one of the most sexually active in the country.”
I stared at him like he’d grown multiple heads. “Well, that makes me a little nervous, considering how much you guys get around. Should we get tests or something first? I know I’m clean, but…”
Axel scoffed. “Jesus. We’re safe, Kitten. We get tested for physicals and stuff so often that I could show you a clean bill of health right now. We’re not assholes, though. I’ve never had sex without a condom.”
I cut my eyes guiltily at Ryder. “I’ve only ever gone without once.”
Hudson sighed. “I’m trying really hard not to hate you, Ry, but it’s getting harder by the second.”
“I fucked up.” Ryder met my gaze and licked his lips. “Can’t say it wasn’t the hottest fuck up of my life, though.”
“We’re all clean… Good to know. Are you on the pill, Kitten?” Axel ran his hands through his hair and down his face. He looked like he was at the edge of his control.
“I have an iud. I didn’t want to chance it with my ex, even though I thought it was going to last.” I swallowed down another bout of nerves. “So, back to my question. If there isn’t a rumor about me being easy, why are you three here? Is this the kind of thing that kids are doing these days? Or is it just you three? Why me? What does it mean? Oh, my god. Do you normally do this with Jason? I’ll vomit right here and now if you say yes.”
“Are you serious?” Axel quirked his eyebrow at me. “You’re serious. Wow. Okay, where to start… I’m here because you’re sexy as fuck and I’m dying to taste every part of you. I like the sounds you make when you come and I’m desperate to hear more of them. I don’t know or care what thekidsare doing these days. And we’ve never done anything like this before. I haven’t, anyway, and I’m pretty sure these two would’ve mentioned something to me if they had.”
Ryder shrugged. “Probably not, but I haven’t. I’ve barely had time to look at my dick in the last year, much less participate in anything like this. Whatever the fuck this is. And you should know why I’m here, Jenny. As much as I don’t need to lose focus, I’ve never experienced anything like what we did. I’d be a fucking fool to not acknowledge that and beg for more.”
“I’ve had a few threesomes, but they were much more female heavy. This is a sausage fest.” Hudson scowled at his friends and then grinned at me. “I didn’t hate kissing you in front of them, though. Whatever that means. But maybe we don’t talk about your brother right now? We’ll just agree that we’ve never done this before and let it be.”
I played with the ends of my hair and stared down at my bare legs. “I don’t understand my own feelings, so I don’t know why I expected to understand anyone else’s. I would never want to hurt anyone. I don’t know why I can’t pick just one of you that I want more. It’s selfish and greedy to try to enjoy all three of you.”
“You’re not hurting us, Kitten. We’re all big boys here.”
I glanced up at Axel. “Yeah, I’m aware. That’s the number one reason I should stop being stupid and run out of here. After sex with Ryder, I almost needed a wheelchair.”
“You’re going to give him an even bigger ego.” Hudson sighed. “Come here, Jenny. Sit with me while we talk.”
Because I was hungry for comfort I scrambled into his lap and pressed myself into his chest as he wrapped his arms around me. After a moment, he shifted me around until my back was to his chest, and I was facing Axel and Ryder. They both shifted closer, their eyes heated.
“Do they look like their feelings are being hurt?” Hudson gathered my hair to one side and pressed his mouth to my shoulder. “You don’t need to worry about us. It sounds like you’ve been worrying about the men around you for too long. Maybe if you’d thought about whatyouwanted andhowyou want it, you would’ve been free of your ex a long time ago. So, tell us, Jenny, what do you want?”
I lifted my hand to grasp his hair. “That’s hard.”
Axel grunted. “No, it’s not. Stop fighting yourself and take what you want, Kitten.”
“Take everything else out of the equation. Who we are outside of this room, what you think is right, worries about feelings, and just lay it out there. Lay yourself bare and we’ll do the same, Kitten.” Ryder leaned back against the headboard again, his body stiff. “Be a good girl and tell us what you want.”
I squeezed my eyes shut and took a deep breath. “I don’t know my options. What if… What if I say something that isn’t on the table? I have to face you guys again.”
Hudson’s voice was a growl against my neck. “Pretty sure there are no limits to what you could ask us for. You clearly don’t understand your power over us, Jenny.”
