Dallis had to stop himself from smirking when she’d said it. The same way he’d had to stop himself from saying thank you when the girl beside him told Colbie how pretty it was and that he’d done an excellent job.

“I want to give you your Valentine’s Day gift when we get back to the apartment,” Dallis told her.

The actual holiday was the day before, but he wanted to hold off celebrating until they were spending the weekend together alone. It was the first time they’d done so outside of her house. They only stayed for a few hours when they drove to the neighboring cities.

“This isn’t my gift?” she questioned, gesturing at their surroundings.

“No. I just wanted to spend some uninterrupted time with you where we didn’t have to worry about bumping into anyone.” He paused for a moment before continuing as an afterthought. “And before you tell me, I didn’t have to. I wanted to, and I’m not taking it back.”

Colbie let out a sigh. “Fine, but I got you something as well.” Dallis raised an eyebrow at her. “Deal with it,” she told him, giving him a triumphant smile.

As they waited on their food, Colbie asked him if he’d heard back from any of the colleges he applied to. Dallis told her that he hadn’t. Mainly because he’d only applied to the one in town but she didn’t know that; however, he knew it would be March before he heard anything from them.

Once their food came, they ate while watching the sunset and talked about a few things Colbie wanted to try to do while there.

When they finished with their food, Dallis paid the bill, which caused Colbie to huff at him, so he allowed her to leave a tip. As they left the restaurant, she asked if they could go for a walk on the beach. Dallis had assumed she would want to and that it had been the reason she changed out of her sneakers into a pair of sandals.

They walked hand in hand on the beach, Dallis’ shoes hanging from around his neck. He’d tied the laces together and placed his socks inside them while he held Colbie’s sandals in his free hand. Neither of them needed to say anything as they enjoyed one another’s company. School couldn’t be out soon enough in Dallis’ mind, so he could be with her like this at home.

Colbie made her way into the apartment and over to the refrigerator. They’d stopped by a little market they’d found on the way back and grabbed a few things. She planned on making Dallis breakfast in the morning even though she’d come to realize he didn’t eat breakfast often. She wanted to do something thoughtful.

When she opened the refrigerator, she found that there were already a few things inside with a little note that stated,Compliments of the house. She smiled, making a mental note to have Dallis give them a good review.

Colbie went about putting away the items as she listened to Dallis attempt to get out of trouble with his mother. She’d called him a few minutes before they’d made it back, and from what she could surmise, Dallis had forgotten to let Joyce know they’d made it.

She refrained from smiling and laughing at the interaction because no matter how mature he was or the fact that he treated her better than any man she’d ever dated who was older than he was. He was still his mother’s child. Hell, Colbie’s parents and Cameron liked to do the same thing and probably would have had she told them where she was going. Instead, she’d opted to tell Drew since he knew Dallis, and she knew that he wouldn’t harp on her for not checking in as soon as they landed.

While Colbie had told Cameron about Dallis, she hadn’t gotten into the fact that he was younger than she was, and her brother had not let the information out either. Deciding that she should let her brother know now that they’d landed, she picked up her phone after putting everything away and decided to send him a text message.

Once Dallis had apologized to his mother, and she seemed to be done scolding him, he told Colbie that she said hello and hoped they have fun.

It was just after ten o’clock, and Colbie decided that she would get into the shower. She made her way into the bedroom and over to the suitcase. She pulled out the bag she’d packed inside, which she’d told Dallis was a toiletry bag when he asked. Though it wasn’t a complete lie, she had packed those things inside. There were others as well.

Colbie made her way into the bathroom, being sure to lock both doors. The last thing she needed was for Dallis to try to follow her.

Turning on the shower, Colbie let the water heat up as she stripped out of her clothes. She’d shaved and trimmed that morning before getting ready for work so that it would be less time she had to spend tonight.

Colbie heard the door handle rattle right before she stepped into the shower but decided to act as if she didn’t. She figured he would assume she was already showering.

Once she finished with her shower, Colbie dried off before wrapping the towel around herself. She grabbed the bag and stepped out into the bedroom to find Dallis sitting on the bed in his boxers, his toiletry bag beside him. He stood up when she entered, and Colbie watched his eyes rack over her. Even though she had a towel around herself, she felt naked under his gaze. She always did when he looked at her that way, no matter what she was wearing, and it wasn’t a bad thing.

Dallis made his way towards her, stopping briefly to tip her chin up with his free hand. Colbie stared into his eyes; as always, they were filled with promises she knew he’d not only keep but exceed.

“You should have taken a nap on the plane,” he told her before making his way into the bathroom.

Colbie didn’t have to ask him why that was. She knew what he meant. He planned on wearing her out; however, she had planned on doing the same to him.

She waited until she heard the shower running and was sure that he was inside before she took the other items from the bag. Colbie had purchased a few things at her local adult novelty store.

She pulled out the bondage rope, having chosen that over the standard handcuffs. She also pulled out a package of pop rock candy, a cock ring not that Dallis would need one, an edible massage candle, condoms, and some pheromone linen spray.

Once she’d displayed everything on the stand and sprayed the bedding with pheromone spray. She went about moisturizing herself and dabbing on some of the perfume Dallis had pointed out as one of his favorites when she wore it.

Colbie lit the candle and turned off the light in the bedroom, hoping that the moonlight streaming in from the windows would help in the mood she was trying to set. She’d decided to leave the curtains open. There were no buildings outside of the window high enough to give anyone a look inside.

A part of Colbie had thought of getting some rose petals, but she thought they would get in the way. So, she’d forgone them. She also hadn’t felt the need to buy any lingerie because she knew that her laying naked in the middle of the bed would have the same, if not an even more significant, effect on her boyfriend.
