I could say this isn’t what I want at all…but he’s a shifter. He would know it for the lie it was. My need hangs so heavily in the air that even I can smell the musky scent of my arousal.
Shifting my focus to Aden, I wait for him to tell me what he wants. Because he wants something. My eyes dip low, and I see him. He’s not as thick as Kade, but he’s long, golden, and makes my fingers itch to touch, to know if he will feel as warm and as smooth as he looks.
His fingers close around my chin, and he tilts my head up so we’re eye to eye. “A distraction,” he tells me with a gentle smile. “That’s all that is. This is about you, Saige.”
And then he waits—they both wait—for the word that will tell them I want to stop. Just one name and this all ends. Aden would release me, hand me my shirt, and I would go to my room and go to bed.
All you have to do is say Dariel’s name and this strange fantasy filling your mind of two men sharing this bed with you ends.
Kade inhales deeply. “Hunger.”
I don’t dare look at him. Instead, I keep my focus trained on Aden.
“Need. That’s what I smell, angel. When was the last time anyone fed you, hmm?”
In the sudden hush, a gust of wind blows hard, rattling the window in the pane, drawing my attention to the dark blue drapes. Somewhere out there, Rylan is hunting me, and one day, probably soon, he will find me.
But for one night, one moment, I just want to be the Saige who Aden looks at as if I’m not covered in scars and the Saige who Kade protects as if he thinks she’s worth giving his life for.
I turn from the window, peel my arms away from my breasts, and lay back down.
A hint of a smile creases Aden’s lips.
“Good girl.” But the words aren’t his. They come from the other side of the room. They come from Kade. “Lie back and let Aden feed you, angel.”
His praise warms me and softens tense muscles.
My eyes lock on Kade’s heated grays as Aden spreads me a little more. His hands are warm against my thighs, almost as hot as the kisses he trails along my inner thigh, my right, and then my left, making me sigh and shift restlessly from his intimate caresses.
I’d look at the path Aden is kissing toward my core, and I almost do, until Kade strokes himself once, from base to tip. He does it harder than I would, the heavy breath he blows from between his lips rich with pleasure.
Aden’s first kiss makes me forget all the rules. Again.
I rip my gaze from Kade, grab Aden’s hair, and stare down my body at him, eyes wide in shock. “Aden…” I gasp.
He lowers his blond head and licks. Once. Just once, and it's nearly enough to drive me out of my mind. Another gasp wheezes out of me as I shake my head because this is too much. This is far too much already.
His tongue strokes through my folds, burrowing, as if he’s determined to hunt out every sensitive place in me. My head falls back, legs fall even wider open as I lift my hips to him, moaning so loud it should embarrass me. Aden makes a low hum of pleasure as he slides his hands up to my hips and drags me down to his mouth, stroking, lapping, and sucking as I writhe under his decadent attention.
Over the sound of my harsh breathing, the soft slap of skin on skin makes me frown in confusion.
What is that?
Aden circles my clit with the tip of his tongue. Moaning, I lift my hips, gripping his hair as I offer myself up to him.
A second later, Kade’s throaty groan teases my senses, and that same noise from before, the soft slap of skin on skin grows louder.
Peeling my eyelids open, I turn my head toward Kade, and my heart stops.
My gut clenches at the sight of Kade stroking himself, a harsh grimace twisting his face as he flicks his eyes from mine to Aden feasting between my legs, and then back again.
“Kade,” I moan, grinding myself against Aden’s mouth.
Kade swallows hard. “Is Aden giving you what you need, angel?” His voice is so raspy, I nearly have to ask him to repeat himself.
“Yes,” I gasp, the muscles in my thighs tightening as my release stretches toward me, ready to drag me under.
Kade strokes himself harder, as if he knows how close I am.
